"Wow," she says dreamily. "Yeah, it was." Then a little laugh. "Remember that Carnivale? The one where we first kissed?"

"HOw could I forget" A grin

She smiles. "The satyrs were just about to start up the Gift when Clem swooped in and suggested it was time for Kelby and me to go."

A chuckle "Truth? I really really resented Clem just a little, but I get it" He runs a finger along her cheek

"Yeah. That was then. This..." she turns her face and captures his finger in a little love bite for a moment before releasing and saying, "...this is now."

"And a very good now it is" He wraps a leg over her as if pinning playfully "I love you, but more than that. I'm proud of you. WHich may sound condescending but I don't mean it to be. I... you make everything better you touch. YOu know that?"

She squirms happily a little at being 'pinned.' "It doesn't sound condescending, especially because I'm incredibly proud of you, too. Except when you're pranking me with Zane and the Mountain," she adds with an arched brow.

"He offered me a favor or three. I made the hard choice" VERY somber, then a chuckle "I'll make it up to you"
