"Oh, I can still be on-call for important work like that," she says with a wry grin. "So...the way it's going to work is that I'm going to go back to school in Rivervale, but commute back up here for Bridge duties. It'll go like that until my oath is finished. After that...we'll see."

"mm, I still wish you asked for some help. I might have been able to solve a problem or two like that" She snaps her fingers

And.. things get brighter

Sylvi blinks. "Did the lights...?" She stands up. "Something's going on."

"Okay, that was NOT me" she says looking her hand "As great as the timing would be"

"No, it's...." She takes a deep breath. "Wow. Okay, this is...not the average DarkGate feeling. Holy crap, do you think this is because of Zane?!"

"Moving is one thing. This is like they all just got vacuumed right up! Come on, I've got to see."

She is on her way out of the office.

She follows and they move towards the gate.... the halls are brighter, the flames no longer smolder low annd glum

Sylvi laughs at that, and it's a bright, happy laugh!

They continue on and come to the gatte, the room of shadows and gloom

It shines like polished armor in here, ready, for any threat. Still serious, but no longer so grim

Zane lays on the floor, the cane's gem stone onnce white now black as pitch,

Colton sighs 'Damn"

Wildheart shakes her head "Don't grieve, he died the hero he wanted to be"

She stops in her tracks. "Wait...what? He...no no no no no...."

"WHAT?" Nadeen gasps

"It was a lot of energy to take in to the cane, it took the evil, but he still felt a lot of pain" Wildheart says

Sylvi stares. Then she hurries to Zane's side. "No. Nope. No way. Not going to happen." Colton knows that determined set of her jaw.

"Nadeen, Colton, one of you go to the theater, get the Trago, now."

Zane whispers "Only a kiss can save me"

"Then..."

"Either or both" Zane goes on as Nadeen has come up to "Both would be good"

"I'm going to kick him in his fuzzy ass" Nadeen says

"HA! Can't act huh?" He grins sitting up right "It was just an off day!"

She looks up at Colton and Wildheart. "And you were IN ON IT!"

Colton coughs "In my defense, all I said was 'Damn'.. I never said he was dead"

"That was hilarious" Wildheart chuckles throaty

Nadeen gives Sylvi a look as if to say He's your boyfriend and I trust you to punish him as he deserves

then she slaps Zane hard in the shoulder

"OW" he says and rubs "Okay okay.... but .. in my defense, LOOK?" A grin

Sir Colton ap Liam, the arm strong, Storm of the lodge, squirms a bit. It is good that he squirms.
