Sylvi returns, The pooka's car is gone..

and Nadeenn's is in

She parks and gets indoors quickly...there are still things to put away before she heads to the Fortress.

"I'm back!" she calls out as she enters the house.

"Do tell?" A huffy tone

Nadeen comes out "Why did you leave her alone in the house so close to Pranksggiving?"

"What? I --" and her eyes get wide. "OMG. I... Etsie was sick, I had to rush back by trod, and she had just gotten here by driving, and she's pregnant, and I didn't want to say 'get out'....Did she do something?"

"Thank goodness my room is warded... but..." She gestures to the downstairs bathroom

"Oh, no...." She goes to the bathroom and peeks in reluctantly.

She must have brought them, Wall decals ..photoshopped to be sure. No way did Chris Hemsworth and CHris Evans really pose nude like that

"What am I supposed to say if Aiden comes in and sees that?" She asks

Sylvi stares...she can't help it. "Um...."

Then she turns and grins, "Have him use the upstairs bathroom? Closer to your room?"

A blush "Wait till you see the fridge"

"What?" She leaves the bathroom debacle -- after casting a final glance at the walls -- and goes to the fridge.

When she opens it, five Springy snakes launch out at her!

"BWAH!!!!" She reflexively bats her hands at the flying snakes in what must be an unfortunately humorous scene.

"You see what it's like? I had to reload those so YOU went throuh it too!" Nadeen laughs "Oh I'm sure i looked MUCH more dignified"

Sylvi gives her a disgruntled pout. "Thank you so much for that."

"Next time text me and warn me that you left a pooka alonne in here... oh.. I also ate one of the donuts your mother had brought over"

She DOES look guilty at that

"Oh, please, eat some! I could hardly eat everything she sent up all by myself. I'd look like a big blue beach ball!"

"Listen...I'm sorry she did all that. I mean, it is funny, and it's not too awful. But I can't clean it up right now. I have to hurry and get to the Fortress. I'm almost late for shift."

"I'll have Flo handle it" She sigghs "Go go"

"Okay, just..." She hurries around and puts away the things that are for her alone (like socks) in her room. "Right...help yourself to stuff, Mom sent WAY too much, and I'll be back after shift," she says while hurrying down the stairs and out the front door.

"Can Flo have..." But the troll is gone "Well, I'll take that as a yes"

And into the car and away!

Soon enough, she's getting to the Fortress.

At the Fortress she moves through.. Colton waits

"Hey, hi, sorry," she says as she rushes in, making sure her DarkGate insignia is properly visible.

"You're cutting it close, everything okay?" He asks worried

"Just...lots going on. Busy day. Tiffany came up as a surprise, and then Piper called because Etsi was sick, so I had to trod down quick to help her out, and then I trodded back really quick, and turns out Tiffany pranked the house an Nadeen got to discover that, and...well, then I got here." She finishes with a breathless smile.

"Uh, how're you?"

"Wow, suddenly not feeling so bad about the beating I took in training"

"Who got you?" she asks.

"I told the squad to come at me... " he blushes "the rookie squad. Thought i could handle them all .... and I did... then one of them called out some orders for team work"

"Serves you right for training them well."

"I understimated Dyla. She's so quiet even for a troll. I didn't expect her to have leadership potential"

"Dyla turned leader? I...did not see that coming."

"I know right? She barely grunts"

"Yeah, almost no brow movement, either." A grin; they're quite aware of what others say about troll communication.

"Come on, we'll be late for the meeting" He kisses her

She returns the kiss quickly, and goes with him to the meeting, mentally going through the various things she has to do in various places.

And off they go, to the council room. Marsellies is talking already, the Heath fussing "But I must have extra security to protect the food bins. the pooka will be stampeding... and they love going a fter the the food"

The Storm just got in but smoothly says "Before we commit to that... I think the priority is still.. well, guarding the gate?"

Sylvi stays quietly peripheral for the moment, listening.

The Chief nods "I'm inclined to agree with the Storm. I hope the pooka of the area have the sense to not mess with dark forces."

"But in case they don't...best to keep the focus on the gate" He finishes

Marsellies mmms "Well, if everyone gets the runs because they put exlax in the chocolate, you might be short staffed"
