First things first; William bustles around ensuring the Club is secure and counting any staff who might be there.

He finds Rocco, the redcap sees the tension, "Problem boss?"

"Mmmm... potentially. Keeblers, you know."

"One, at least, with a sharp nose for creative speech."

"Should I slip on the brass knuckles?"

"I'm hoping to make as small a noticeable target as possible. Discretion, you know." he motions for Miss CC to go behind the mirror to the Flame.

CC goes on... behind the mirror with the prize

"Gotcha." He says "Want me to call Hugh to pull attention? A collarless rotewieler storming about migh throw searches away"

"Only if necessary." Stodgepole goes to peek out the windows, and he knows how to do it and not be seen.

Good news is that thanks to the protections of the hold, it seems to confuse their hunters. For now. There's a centaur in green and gold trotting the streets and looking about. A thane no doubt

"Damn." he mutters, watching surreptitiously.

Shortly... the centaur goes out of sight.. perhaps further down the street

"Keep an eye." to Rocco, and he goes to his control room to check the outside cameras.

He notices the centaur is going away, but is also now on a phone, of course, on the camera, the centaur just looks like a normal two legger

Other than that, it looks pretty clear. He feels like there's something he's missing, but he's not sure what.

"Damn...." he racks his brains.

It comes to him quickly... it's possible he might want to check recent footage BEFORE he came in here.

He does.

He checks and... wait, is that a drone? Yes, about two minutes before he got to the cameras, there was a drone. It flew over the building

"Oh you must be...." and he quietly invokes several curses and invectives that could curl the toes and hair of others.

Good thing he's not a nocker. Then again, a nocker might be able to handle these airborn bothers!

And he curses himself he never considered airborn defence.

That will likely take a serious intake into props. CC has trouble with anything more complicated than a Microphone

Indeed, beyond them both and they wish to lay low and not attract attention.

For now, they're hitting the mattresses, so to speak

"We're closed tonight, Rocco, unless I say otherwise." he tells him "Call the staff. Electrical and plumbing issues. Never rains but it pours."

"You got it, boss!" he says . The staff is called promptly.
