William has a few drinks in decanters waiting when the Club is closed; that is left to the staff tonight.

And CC joins him again, "Did you get enough time alone?"

He pours them drinks. "You gave me much to think about. I am not sure I am done yet but....."

"I'm still not sure what I said that.. seemed to worry you" She admits, and takes her drink when it's poured but doesn't drink, not yet

He settles himself near her. "You... struck me so hard, Dearest Callidora, I... did not know what to think. Or say."

"I was dumbstruck."

"I merely said I didn't want to be as I was when I was a wilder on the run who only cared about herself and her baby. Is..."
she tilts her head "Is that so bad?"

"You said... you had outgrown her." and now he takes a drink.

"In a lot of ways, yes" She says "I still know fear and rage, but those aren't my main passions anymore"

"I.... am not sure I have." quietly.

"Oh" Realization "OH." She puts her drink down and takes his hand "Darling, what i said was about me, I wasn't... meaning to judge you. "

"I did not take it as such, Callidora."

"But you sound like YOU might be hard on yourself." SHe says "I don't know if I like that either"

"Not... hard. On myself."

Thinking. "... Thinking."

Now she takes a dr ink, waiting

"I am....with you. Now. This life. And as you say...you have outgrown the person you have been. I do not think I have. But if I have.... what am I?"

"Many things. Among them, a muse for firey young dreamers, a mentor to young changelings who need coaxing away from noble lapdoggery, a business man, and if I may say ,a damn fine lover. "

"Yet in my heart, the soul, the fire of me..... I hate, Dearest. I want... revenge, For someone that...."

"And I often discourage that" She nods, "Darling... I don't know if it helps, but while fear and hate is not ALL I'm about, they're still a part of me too. Remember Boise? And other noble stomping we did together? That's not out of the realm of repeat"

"I do."

"mmm" A nod "I feel like I've neglected your passions while we've pursued mine. Maybe we should keep an eye out for abusive nobles about Concordia and let you follow your passion. WE will do that"

"Dearest. You forbade me just such things."

A brow lift, making her horn tilt "I may need to check for Bedlam. I remember saying we should NOT muck with the lodge , not all of them everywhere."
