Zara watches the magic flow, Chicnary mastefully applied and... something else? Some art she does not know!

She studies the taste and smell of it, what it does, how it sings, the color and texture...

Dark, savory, dangerous, and yet...

no, she cannot place it

Zara focuses, trying to think of lore of arts lost and arts forbidden and...

she doesn't KNOOOWWW...

it begins to eat at her. She saw it. She did. that wasn't imagined.

CC says "There, we can let them go now"

Distracted. "..aye..."

"Hugh? Can you get them outside, unseen?"

"Right away, boss" Hugh grins, and starts humming theme music

And he moves taking the two out, a light veil on him and them... they, the evidence, slip out

"Now we can have the closet they were in fumigated" CC jokes to Emerson

"The hotel will take care of it." he winks, or blinks (hard to tell) at her.

CC purs "Delightful. Now, let's head back for another cup of tea, what do you both think?"

"It sounds delightful. Miss Zara, may we have the pleasure of your company a while longer?"

She was staring at CC.

A forceful little shake of her head, blinking back. "Hm?"

"More tea and company ?" She repeats

"Oh, aye."

"To the hold then. Our fire is small but warm"

"A most delightful haven, aye. And well hidden." Approving.

"Why thank you." he says, pleased. He escorts them downstairs, slipping a word and a reasonable tip to housekeeping as they pass.

Housekeeping is always happy to see Mr. Stodgepole. He takes care of people.

"It is. " CC says "I'm terrible hypocrite I fear, I do adore the crowd's praise, but sometimes a show girl 'vants to be alone'" A chuckle "or more accurately with a few friends only"

William chuckles knowingly at that.

"Oh dear, that quote does date me, doesn't it?" at the chuckle with good humor

"Well, three's a crowd."

"Tonight, three means a charming young guest who has helped us out and we are happy to host. Besides, it's been too long since you've graced Kansas City for a visit. Oh, you know that Wingback at firnost?"

To demonstrate, once they get to their small hold, CC shows off something "Well, I found , well, not the same chair, but I thought of you when we bought it and had it brought in."

"Now when you visit our hold, you might feel more comfortable? Would you like it in a shadowy corner or ?"

She taps her fingertips together in a silent clap of delight.

And so, over tea, talk of teas, wingbacks and so on do occur.
