CC nods "You've been supportive of Caesar as a father, and such help to the children. I'm sure you consider that just being decent, but decency is in short supply"

"Agreed." firmly.

"Mm more's the pity. No I am not always decent" She sighs, thinnking of a young girl she hurt badly, "But wisdom's main supplier is hindsight"

"With anything, Agnes." Emerson adds in, alluding to the situation "Anything at all."

"Unless you've got a handsome troll cook, finacial wizard who will fall in love with deBuke girl and she with him marry quick to qualify, or can turnn nSally Mae into a troll.. no not much" She gives a small smile

He actually seems to give it some thought.... an eyebrow creeps upwards.

"Mmm.." CC muses it over

"Oh now stop that" Agnes says "Was rhetorrical"

"Are you certain?" asking to be sure, himself; as if there were something he could do to make her scenario come to pass?

"How on earth woud you two even begin to do that. Talk sense" Agnes says

He drums his fingers on the table softly. "That... is an excellent question. One which is moot if you do not actually want what you suggested."

"the onnly ways are magics that mannipulate or bend others so yes, they're off the table" Agnes says "I may think I know best, bu you have to let the younguns be themselves"

"Mmm. You said Sally Mae would be perfect but that she is Kin and not Kith."

"Old laws, old rules, but more than that...she doesn't have the protection of being a full troll, or the authority. I .. wish I could bend those rules. Clem's thought of doinng and taking the risk. But .. she's also.. well, she's datingg this Liam boy"

"A sidhe, named Carowyn. Seems a nice fellow .. and we let Liam visit now.. but...between her not being a troll AND that, some of he more tradiional among us might nnot rrespect or follow her"

As best as his little legs will carry him! And she MUST take home some of this dessert... perhaps a bottle of the vintage they shared? He's got a basket around here somewhere.....

"Oh, I had an idea. Not sure how it would come to fruition, or if it's even worth the effort. Other than an admiration for the DeBuke cause and your ties to the Farm.... well, who they choose as Hearth is their own matter."

"I suppose it is, but you never know, open eyes may yet show us something. Come on, she's left us enough squash soup to feed an army and it's good"

"Yes." He's already dismissed Luis, doused the lights, and locked up the Club. He takes her hand to the Freehold's doorway and together they enter.
