CC absolutely devoured her lover happily, and is in such a better mood

The next day she bounces joyfully. It would seem last night's display set her into a vibrant mood

She finds her boggan in the kitchen of their house, making breakfast with a smile on his lips.

"GOOD morning, lover"

"Ahhh..... " Pleased, he turns as he wipes his hands, and offers them to her. "Dearest."

She takes her hands and swings a bit "I had such a good time last night."

"I am so very....." kiss ".... very....." kiss "....glad."

"You must perform. We will find venues until ours is safe and available."

"Oh honey, how can it be?"

"I am working on it." He squeezes her hands and releases them to turn back to the meal in preparation. "On that note, I might need to take a small trip. See to a few things."

"Oh?" Dubious look

"Yes." A momentary hesitation, reluctance. "I need to free up some funds."

A worried look, then a sigh "How badly are we hurting?"

"Not at all." He assures her, smooth as butter. "I'm just making sure we have enough padding."

Dubious look, "Caesar might help."

"I rather think the calls on his funds are enough, with the children and the lack of performance work. I'm sure his real estate is doing well, but there are those who cannot pay rent, yes?"

"MMmph... yes. I just... I thought you did the books but I still got a say?"

"Yes."

"So how come I get the feeling you're wanting me to stay out of this one?" Brow

"These are funds from my former life." he says, plating sausages onto paper towels.

"Oh" She says realizing, then "I'm feeling a bit guilty now. "

"Whatever for??"

"I made you quit that, and now suddenly you have to go back because you want to keep us in business, a business I pushed you into. How is this NOT my fault?"

"No no no no no....." he chuckles "No, I am not looking for work. I have... a bit saved by. Rainy days and all that. I'm moving the money from one place to another and making it work for me."

"Well..." A kiss "And I can't go with you?"

"I did not say that." He hands her a few plates of food for the table.

"A small trip. Mmm okay you didn't say I wouldn't be allowed along but the way you said it made me think it was your preference"

He tidies up a few things, finishes plating food, turns to take it to the table......

"It depends on how much -you- wish to know about that part of my past, Dearest."

"I see. Mmm ... well, the Unseelie might be coming on me"

"Oh, you give an old man hope, Dearest!"

"Hurumph, so my seelie side bores you?" A sniff "Too bad I can't take my sunshine apple dumpling you ate last week back." Hand on hip

A huff. "You know that is not what I meant, Dearest. I adore you, no matter the season. But... it is time, is it not? For you to join me?" An eyebrow.

"Mmm well, maybe I had such a beauty is life moment last night I"m Summer stuck "

He puts things down and crosses to her. "Indeed? Oh dear......."

"Could be" she says , playfully perhaps

She gets an EYEBROW.

"oo so fierce" She kisses him , "Fine. I am feeling it, but I know my nature and I have not crossed over yet. You know my Winter side better than most. I get down right material then and wouldn't care if I found out you were the second gunman on a grassy knoll "

He looks surprised. "You used Soothsay on me?!?!?"

She blinks, then breaks out laughing and he gets hugged

He chuckles in return and hugs her back.

"Sides, I know you were no where NEAR my shooting spot"

"Ppfft."

She muses his hair, such as it is.

"Sit and eat breakfast, Dearest. You must be famished."

She does sit, "Speaking of unseelie.. darn it, we got so swamped I never got to see you work your magic on June Maude"

"Oh, I may have made some progress. It's a delicate business."

"Oh?" Her eyes light up "You remembered? through the COVID and the craziness.. you remembered?" Startled and.. pleased

"Laying the ground work. Tricky, as she stays so much at the farm and I don't wish to reveal too much of myself there. You know. But with the seasons turning, I thought I might plan ahead."

"It was such a little thing and you.. oh my" He gets kissed
