CC has been throwing herself into grandmothering... and ..travel. She tend to the balefire, of course, but she looks at the empty club with irritation

Emerson is there regularly, both to ensure it looks 'lived in' and to tend to the Balefire, and other pieces of business.

"I am going to abduct a dozen dreamers and have them mill about the place.. me.. forced to resort to a captive audiance" Humph

"Tsk....." from his desk "Are you adverse to busking? We could go to Seattle...." a sigh.

"I don't.. " She looks him over "oh my, are the youth of today warming your little inserectionist heart?"

"Heavens, yes." A smirk. "And, it isn't like we both have -never- stood on a street corner to earn supper.....""

"humph... well, darling, I'm glad I saved you from that red light district" She moves to him and kisses him, "You know, maybe we should. We'd hardly be the only changelings there I bet."

"We would not." He seems certain.

"Why not, I have neglected you I know. Babies, Bergen, shopping, I've been around"

"Pffft, non.... Bergen?" A head tilt. "In Apples?"

"no Bergen in the Kingdom of Squash.. yes, Apples"

He gives her a dry look. "Someone is feeling frisky. Hmmph."

"little bit" she smiles "Have I told you about the Thomases?"

"Are they English muffins?"

"ha, no. They're a very confused bunch of fledges. Including a man who is now a troll, and his lovely now satyress wife...they have a sidhe blooded kinian son, and a daughter who is a sluagh."

"MMmph. Can't win them all I suppose."

"Yes, but here's the interesting thing..." And she relates the tail of a Varich with a plan gone too far, a balor who saought to use him... and New jersey almost becoming all fae, but loyalist brainwashed fae to the Varich

"The Thomases are the fall out it turns out"

".... so... they were the only ones that turned Fae? All but the son, the elf-blooded one?"

"So it seems.." her eyes light up "Though the residue of energy has been worth collecting"

"Is that what I have been... tasting?"

"Little bit.. also I've been a couple counselor. isn't that nice of me?"

"Yeeessss?" A bit suspicious, or at least careful.

"It would appear there's concern Brenda won't be able to stay faithful..." And she relates the ..troll satyr dynamic.. and the complaints "now naturally I've been suggesting the Satyr Oath and so forth. They asked for my help when I told them I was in a steady relationship with a boggan gent."

SHe seems to want to help them, but then admits "They've had a rough patch. I confess, I could play with them for a time if I really wanted to"

"Feel free, Dearest." He looks back at his papers. "Good luck to you, and Mrs. Thomas."

She takes his hand and looks him over "You all right?"

"Oh, yes. Why?" He puts down his pen

"You seemed abrupt."

"My apologies." A squeeze to her hand. "That was not my intent, at all. Although I am baffled that you would involve yourself there." He adds honestly.

"Well, Caesar owns the apartment complex there and I.." A blush "Well, they have a traggo"

A indulgent, exasperated exhale. "Honestly....."

"I know.. it's embarrassing. I know you don't like the Professor, and they do run a little on the Seelie side..."

"Honestly, it started out of boredom and a desire to do mischief" A sigh "Then it turned out to be kind of ..traggo like"

"I believe Wayburton is wasting his talent, yes. I'm aghast that I was not able to recognize and mitigate your boredom and need for mischief." Contrite. "And I am glad you have a traggo; you know well that I have been encouraging you in that vein for some time, Dearest."

"I know I know.. I hate to admit it when you're right...because you so often are" She kisses him

And he kisses her back.

"You are pleased with the traggo?"

"I haven't met them all... and Etsie's heavy metal does not go well with my velvet jazz and sultry blues... Lyron is a handsome young stud... now the twins? cute ladies. but over all yes"

"Good. That is enough for me." Firmly.

"Oh it's quite the drama take the twins... they're currently Seelie.. ironically after Brenda tied them to a maypole on Beltaine for drugging her son and robbing him."

A grin... and a laugh "I know, the BIGGEST social faux passe thjat... well..."She relatest the tale of the twins and how they made rent... Brenda losing her temper... the back lash from THAT... from her son and the Rivervale crew...

"Mmmm..... perhaps I might warm to this Brenda after all."

"Oh Brenda's learned her lesson... "A roll of her eyes "But maybe it's not too late to teach her some conmfidence.. apparently.. she's embarrased to sday it, her unseelie side is rather ... servile and opprtonistic combined. Drawn to power. "

William laughs and just -looks- at Calidora.

"I am not servile... merely drawn to power" A kiss on his cheek
