A smile "So... May Maude shows promise. Good. April Maude is coming along nicely too. June? huff. she's the one I don't get."

He sighs. "Seelie." The same way one might say 'brainwashed.'

"I know, I know... " A sigh "i'm just normally good with people. You know me. Give me time and I can convince a nun to join in a wet tee shirt contest, or get a meek man the courage to take on a biker gang... maybe I'm irked bout June because she is so immutable so far. A trait I suppose I should admire for the will power it shows"

A small smirk. "A trollish sense of duty."

"Yes, I wonder if anyone's explained to her she's kinain, she's allowed to bend a little" hurmph

"Perhaps we can at some point. However, the child might be safer if we wait."

"Yes...there is that." A nod "And I am over all deliriously happy.. so much so that I sometimes neglect a few other things. Got time to talk about the Club? " A smile

"Well, our talent is going well.... we're recovering our losses at a faster rate than I hoped but you won't believe where we got slammed in a recent review" she sniffs and pulls out a newspaper clipping.

"What!!?!" He takes it and scans.

The line she's underlined says ... disregarding opinions on food, while the musical talent is amazing and sure to please any jazz lover, the club's forays into theme nights and historical ambiance falls flat due to the mishmash of costumes, that mishmash might be forgiven were it not for the near halloween style quality of the other peformers. One doesn't have to be a purist to appreciate that extra mile, sadly it is an extra mile beyond the Ember Club's reach...

"We got trashed because of costumes and wardrobe." She frowns "Apparently because I did a guys and dolls night"

He growls, looking for the Author's name.

"given my proclivities, it should surpise folks that I love Guys and Dolls, and Chicago?" A sigh "Anyway I am wondering if we have the budget to somehow enhance our wardro... are you looking for the author's name so yo ucan take terrible vengeance?"

"Nonsense, Dearest, what a thing to say....." muttered.

One S.T. Emerson. Ironic that last name.

A low growl. "-Someone-.... if playing silly buggers."

"Honey, I'm thinking we either get some new clothes period or maybe get a costume designer who... you're grinding your teeth." She observes

"Don't be silly, Dearest." He checks the name of the publication.

"I was upset too. I'm a satyr, I was really miffed" she says "but true to my kith, after a brief outburst, I calmed down and went to problem solving...it's really not bothering me as much as it was."

"Do you think we should just buy higher quality costomes, or should we hire a professional costumer and set up a contract or?"

"or should I just let it go and realize MOST folks won't care?"

A thin smile. "I think I would like to ask S.T. Emerson what -their- opinion is....."

"You're like an adorable pittbull at times, you know that? You just lock on.. and won't let go."

She sighs "Well, you have to be you. You make sure you get the RIGHT S.T. Emerson, okay? "

"I will leave no stone unturned." He promises.

She kisses him, then says "But it does bring back to the question of.. IF S.T. has a point, how do you think we should address it? I admit, I focus on my own wardrobe a lot more than anyone else's"

"MMmph." A sigh. "I know some who work in fabrics and such." An eyebrow. "Say........."

"Yes?" Cautious but curious
