Emerson is away for the weekend, picking up ersatz paperwork from the friend of a friend; good stuff. Took a while to get, but quality is worth the wait.

CC sulks a bit now and then, but mostly throws herself into the work of the club and the singing she loves. Her man's a big boy, he can take care of himself and she's not going to act offended at being left behind.

Good. A woman should know her place.

Now if she heard that... well, there might be some talk.

A very serious talk.

As if.

Never said aloud, and if so, with a twinkle that invites one of their 'fights'.

CC also keeps in touch with her own contacts in the industry, musical and otherwise... and ponders a visit to Tijauana.

"So, you got this Angel?" She asks one of the girls, "Mmm thanks."

"Yes, Ms. CC." the server responds "And hey, thanks for that advice. It worked." A grin.

"It usually does" A smile, "But good to hear and you are most welcome."

She ponders scrying her love kraken, not because she doesn't trust him, but because itw ould be nice to look on him again. But no that's not needed. Instead, she spins her magic and looks in on someone she doesn't know as well...but has met. Jessica.

She's rather pretty in her way. Not a knock out, but very nice. Mmm... let's see who I am dealing with... something about her revealed. An omen is cast through the tattle tale, perhaps to learn something of the nature of the younger woman, be it her legacies or hopes or plans.

When she peeks a glimpse into the woman's self, she nods "Interesting."
