CC is singing her heart out, Emerson/William/so many names is handling the meet and greet, though not alone.

And that's when the Sidhe walks in.

Emerson is easily distracted by CC's singing, and tends to brag to guests about her. He misses hardly a beat as the elf walks in, but is more formally reserved. "Good evening, sir."

"Hello," the man says, "Table for one , sad as that sounds?"

He nods and has the seating hostess take him far, FAR away from the hidden closet/door, and if possible, from CC.

"Oh... " He notices "Bit far from the entertianment isn't it?"

"Her talent is such that it fills the room, sir." Confidently.

"I suppose, but that is one fine looking lady, as I'm sure everyone realizes. Yes this will do then thanks. Do you reccomend anything?" A loaded question in its way

A placid smile. "Shall I take care of your order for you, sir? My recommendations?"

"Oh yes, please." there is something off about the fellow.. ah, Liam! The oak cufflinks and that odd vibe

Emerson nods, politely, and leaves hosting duties to the seating hostess to step into the kitchen. Having placed the order (best dishes without, sadly, 'additions') he mentions that the gent in the corner does not get to run a tab.

"He trouble? " one server asks

"Yes. Keep an eye on him, as will I. Polite, respectful, -careful-."

"Yes sir." And the staff is forewarned, and just like that, Bill has several more sets of eyes.

Oh if only he had more boggans on staff, like minded to himself, of course. They could pick up a lot of little details.

But he does get the news... that yes, the sidhe is asking around. He's tipping nicely but not extravagently but also asking if any folks meeting a certain description have been up. Well, two certain descriptions. He's looking for other sidhe

"What are those descriptions?"

She describes one man, a balor.. and the other, a Dougal. Odd, Emerson may have seen the Dougal... at firnost.

or he might not

Emerson takes careful note, and casts his memory back....

While he thinks on that, CC's time on the stage ends. And she is now interacting with the crowd

Yes. Yes, he might just recall a Dougal that could answer the description but... not sure.

Emerson moves into CC's trajectory, seeking a glimpse of her attention but not attention for himself. He gives her the sign about the Sidhe.

She laughs and flirts with another customer, but tugs at her ear to let him know she got the message. She whispers something to a server, possibly getting the news vicariously

Emerson goes back to his Host-Post, knowing there are plenty of eyes on the Oathbreaker.

The fellow has a nice meal, applauds for the show, and leaves. It is obvious who ever he is looking for , isn't here. And doesn't come here even.

Which buys CC time later to pull up to her lover "Hey, something going on, and for once I don't htink it's about us" Wryly

He nods. "I might have seen one of the ones he's looking for. I can't be sure."

"I know the Dougal.. interesting.. it was the same Dougal I suggest Kitten check out so long ago. "

"-Oh??-" Interest piqued.

"Yes... someone was spying one her, from a disuguise.. someone with a speech imepdient I think?" Curious "Would fit either house"

"Should we engage?"

"No... much as I'm tempted to, if we interfere now, I think we risk tipping off how much we know. Might let Kitten know though"

He nods. "That seems reasonable, yes. I'll take care of it, unless you'd rather? Ooo! We could ask her to tea, the three of us. I've met her at the hotel for just such purposes."

"Sounds grand" She smiles

"I'll invite her."

"Good. Tell her she can invite Earl along if she wishes. I like those kids. They're sweet"

"I'll include the idea! At the hotel?"

"Why not? Old time sake"

"And... discrete. Kitten is a treasure, of course, but she might grow curious in our home." Just like that. "Our" home. He just put that out there.

"Oh my. I suspect she knows already dear. But yes." her eyes grow pleased at something

"As for our 'guest' tonight, I think he'll be a bit too busy to return. His accent didn't place him as a local"

"Oh?" A head tilt. "Where, then?"

"Pacifica... I want to say California, but that's a lot of territory"

He nods. "I could see that, yes. Hm. I wonder why the one fraternity looks for the other two?"

"It's a good question... maybe kitten will provide a clue" She says "Any way, I know, I know, traggo tomorrow."

A sly smile.

"Don't look too smug" She taps his nose, then kisses it "I have to get back on stage. Love you"

"And I you." He watches her go fondly, and turns back to his duties.
