"Ember Club," Dulscet tones

"Good evening. Do you serve carrots?"

She listens to the voice t make sure it sounds like EBG

"At times, but if you want my suggestion ? We've got a watermelon and Ham option that will blow your socks off"

"Dearest." Warmly.

"Darling" Just as warm, "how goes the business trip?"

"Frustratingly slow at the moment, but I believe things will pick up a bit this week. The catering crew is coming together."

"Yes, well, tell B.A. not to throttle Murdock, mmm?"

"I'd prefer to thinking of it as Ocean's 8. Or 9. Or... well. The A Team? Really?"

"I'm sorry, I missed you on the 4th, my mind is on fireworks"

"Remember, Remember, the 5th of November." He counters slyly.

"You love that movie. Somedays I worry you'd be disturbingly turned on if all I wore were that mask and a midnight teddy" Tut tut but there's no REAL reproval in it.

A soft groan.

"If it sounds like I'm deliberately torturing you because I miss you, it's only because your senses are dead on"

"As long as you're not torturing yourself. That, I could not abide."

"I won't lie, I have had a bit of a dryspell"

A sigh. "Dearest, go find a romp."

"Just like that? Mmmph. Send me out"

"You know better." Gently.

"I'll consider it, though it should probably be careful. Some lucky unlucky fellow might end up dying happily at this phase"

A soft laugh. "If that's the case, do pick a Sidhe?" Teasing.

She actually laughs a bit, "Oh you are... " A happy sigh "I even miss your obsessions."

"-You- are my obsession." He assures her.

"That's the sweetest thing. You're the only stalker I want in my life, you know that, right?"

"I'd better be." A hint of steel.

"Mmm why does THAT turn me on?" She asks

"Because you and I are well matched." Simply. And smugly.

"Just remember who pushed for US before you get too smug about that, mi amour" But she preens a bit vocally

"I will be forever grateful for whatever insanity caused you to do so."

"I liked the way you cooked," She says "In more than one sense. Still do. I miss working with you in the kitchen"

"Oh, so do I." Heartfelt. "We'll cook again when I get home."

"Good. Don't keep my oven light off for too long. I will make you work to reheat it" promise threat hope

"As hard as ever I have worked, I promise you all my effort."

"But -do- find someone if you need it. Don't make me call Caesar." Teasing again.

"Yes, sugarpapa," cheeky

A dark chuckle. "Things -are- coming together here."

"Just don't let the audience storm your stage. Okay?"

"My word on it." Surely.

"Good. Love you, you pillsbury dough boy stud"

"I love you, Greek Goddess."

"Hang up now. Or I'll keep lingering like a stilly wilder doe."

"What a charming image. I think I shall take it to bed. Till then, Dearest."

There's a lingering pause.

"Til then, love" She lingers and sighs, and does seem for a moment almost like a smitten teen girl, vulnerable with a love that's too strong for what maturity she has to pacify

A deep sigh, but he doesn't speak. The line goes dead.

She hangs up, "Oh that's it, it's a Sandra Dee night" Pout
