Beltaine at the Club was, well, small, some folks still don't know about the Emberclub, and while word is getting out....there are bigger draws for classic fae stuff minus the jazz

And, there was an animal shelter fund raiser, rather dourly led by the business manager.

"You were wonderful," CC kisses his cheek, "You did somenice things for animals. Be proud?"

"Hmmph. Spring."

"Yes, but the only point earred primadonna you served were the cats"

He chuckles then, delighted despite himself.

"Did you have a good Beltaine, then?"

"Yes, actually, I think so," She admits, "And we got good word of mouth and good will. You know how valuable that is"

"Irreplaceable." Agreeing. "The Balefire thrives?"

"She'll never be the biggest fire, but she's ours, and she's healthy yes" A soft flutter, "She is however feeling a bit goofy. All this seelie energy."

A small snort. "Goofy, indeed."

'Well, like, I have this urge to put up a tapestry with a satyr symbol and boggan symbol interlocking lovingly...like a Venus Mars thing" A kiss on his head "My little god of war"

A slightly milder chuff. "More like a small god of grudges." pro-forma sullenness.

"Not small where it counts" A wink

"Ha!" He laughs. "Well, thank you."

"Would that be my ambitions, or my potential?" Amused.

"You know exactly what i mean, though your potential is fine..."

"And your ambitions, well, those are just dandy"

"Mmmm?" He leads her to comment further, amused and interested.

"Your ambitions are making me deliciously and deliriously happy aren't they?" Flutter of lashes

"Yes." Gently. "Yes they are." He strokes the side of her face with the back of his finger tips. "How can I further serve that goal?"

"Actually, you've served it so well I worry I'm running oout of things to fuss for." She leans into it, "But I'll think of something. Now, it's a two way street. Are you happy?"

OOC - There are a couple of hanging threads; Caesar's Dougal and the Eiluned in the N.Arms Hotel. Acknowledge these, or gloss over?

OOC: Oh acknowledge maybe it will motivate

He frowns slightly. "Of course. Oh, I wish I'd done better... or worse, depending on your point of view...." He smirks "Regarding Caesar's Dougal and that Eiluned." There's a bitter tone. "But yes, I'm happy, with you."

"mmm yes. Well, the Eiluned didn't get me, that's what matters yes?"

"She knew about, and wanted access to, your Balefire. That matters too."

"Yes, mmm. " A thought, "Okay. Maybe it's time for an information campaign of some sort, what sort of message to send out though? can't say 'sidhe risk their lives'. that's a bit too honest"

"Never works, anyway." Grumpy.

"This is not the Balefire you're looking for?" With a smirk and a nod at the calendar.

A laugh, "Maybe we should try it. I saw at least two obi wan chimera wandering the park, and SO many Leias. I actually ..well i..got a side project going"

It's hard to tell when he blinks, but she knows him so well. "-Another- one??"

"I keep my hand in," A blush, "Well, as you know, Leia had that one..scene in the slave girl outfit? Normally those outfits, and those chimera, go fast in a puff. Some gent has a brief fond memory of it, and done. What I did is.. I've been paying for some of the chimera, more exactly, their outfits."

She goes on, "My resources should be able to fashion a minor treasure out of it., maybe not so minor."

"I have rather fond memories of that scene myself. Do tell me?"

"I think there's a way to bind a subservience and sensuality aspect into it, I'm not saying I approve of taht sort of thing normally, but , well... it might come in handy if we need to say get rid of a future Eiluned? Give her to someone and happily so. But we have to draw from the right glamour, otherwise she'll just 'choke her jabba' before things are done"

He roars with laughing. " 'choke her jabba!!!' " Still laughing, he wipes his eyes. "Dearest, you have the most delightful dirty way with words....."

"well, darling, I'm a satyress... we can't always help it, " A smirk, "Maybe I should trademark it. That said, do you see the worth in collecting the minor chimera?"

"Yes, of course. Rather like a popular smartphone application I think. Catch them all, hm? Can I be of assistance?"

"Well, you can, but I've already gotten quite a few. Amazing how many mortals will help you if you enchant them to hunt them down."

"Hm. And... bind impulses to them? Hmmmmmmm......"

"Right, after all, various emotions are tied to those costumes when you think about it, refine and dilute the ones we want and... wait, I know that look. What's going on in your brow?"

"If these chimera are born of early lustful thoughts.... adolescent passions.... what other passions might be linked through them...." Almost to himself, but aloud.

"Shame, helplessness, yes, and, the flip side, back to the choking the jabba bit. Rebellion, defiance, and yes possibly even hate.'

He grins slowly. "Really?" with pointed, evil delight.

"oh, mmm " a pause, "Honey, I take it you'd like a cup of urge to murder your enslaver saved in a different beaker rather than thrown out in the wash?"

"Yes, indeed." He wraps his arms around her. "What a delicious idea, Dearest. Chimerical outfits, worn by fair means or foul, that not only serve subservience and sensuality, but .... darker themes. Let them kill each other. I've sought a way for years, but this .... had not occurred. Until you."

"That is, of course, we should determine if it -can- be done. Not necessarily start producing them en masse." He says virtuously.

She laughs, "Well, fine. I did ask what could make you happy. We'll look into both sides of things..." A stroke, "I knoew a few discrete nockers and other experts."
