He bustles into the club, pulling the snowman off his head as he enters.

One of the bouncers nods to him, and one of the waitresses sees him too, "The usual, sir?"

CC is finishing up on stage, the last refrains of 'Why don't you do right'?

"Shhh...." He waits, watching and listening, until she's done.

As usual, she leaves every man panting, and some women envious or better, living vicariously.

the waitress smiles, clearly doing the latter herself, then waits to see if he wants that drink.

He nods slowly, watching CC depart the stage, and murmurs to the waitress. "Yes, but I'll come back for it." And he follows CC backstage (or wherever).

"i'll prepare her favorite too then," The waitress says knowingly.

Backstage, CC is slipping out of her dress behind cover. When she sees him, she grins "Hey good looking."

He smiles. "Do you need a hand with anything?"

"You keep your hands to yourself or I'll never get changed," She winks "that was my last set tonight."

"Well, in that case I suppose I can wait." He leans against the desk behind him. "Some success, today. You'll be interested."

"I already am." Soon she comes out with a new dress, one should she need to be a hostess

"Mmmmm...." Lasciviously appreciative. "Well then, would you care for a drink with the story, or the story first?"

'Drink I think. "

He nods, pushes off the furniture and goes to get them from the waitress, returning quickly.

When he returns, she takes her drink "Our staff is figuring is out. I either need to give some of them a raise or have them liquidated." A wink

"Now, Dearest, I've just got some of them trained." He sips his drink, and relates the story of his B&E efforts, including specifically what he's learned about Mags.

"A coin that forces court change? No wonder it lit up like a ..." stunned, "And all to avoid becoming like Tantalus. That poor stupid child."

He smiles and takes a sip of his drink.

"Oh we should help her, but how? " She paces "If she's afraid of me... little old me, going to be hard to do that."

"Dearest, before we get into that... and thank you, you just won a bet for me.... you really -should- tell Caesar about her."

"Why would I need to do that? He'll just worry and try to offer her a house or something. I really need to talk to him about more practical investments."

If he has not, he relates the portions of the diary where Unseelie Mags talks about Caesar.

"They say a boy looks for a woman like his mother, Dearest. Hard to get closer, really."

'Oh. I hope she's joking." Wryly

The boggan just raises an eyebrow.

"I'll tell him, you're right, of course. It's a very annoying habit. "

"I do apologize." With a smirk.

She does kiss him though lightly.

He kisses her back. "Perhaps you and he deal with her? I will shadow around in the background as support?"

"It is ... a family matter. I wouldn't wish to interfere."

"I suppose that's how it should be, but..." She takes his hand "You do realize you're part of my world. William, you are so much of my world it's scary. I do love it." A grin "And you."

"Oh..." He smiles. "You know I feel the same."

"Very well then, how do you wish to proceed, if at all?"

"She's rented an apartment, has a job.... she's a bit settled here."

"I tell Caesar. Caesar will insist on helping her but I'll give him a few hints on how.'

"Let Caesar do it?" Skeptically.

"Once I tell him do you think I'll be able to stop him from butting in? "

"Well, depending on -how- you tell him..."

"Suggestions?"

"A favorite meal, one-on-one time, perhaps an early Yule gift, preface things by extracting a promise regarding reactions and include the -insistence- that he be involved. Absolutely require him to promise that!"

"that's...good" She raises a brow "Say, you never use your Sith lord mind tricks on me do you darling?"

"Perish the thought." He says mildly as he sips his drink. Then he lifts an eyebrow with a twinkle.

A laugh snuggle, "Okay. I'll do that, and see if I can use that to delay him."

"Well, mind, it's possible that he -could- help in this situation but not haring off on his own and mucking about."

'yes..mmm" They talk shop and Caesar management....
