"Once off this trod you can speak no more of it. Not even to each other. That party is invite only. It is for your own safety and all those here, that you do not." said gravely.

"Have to call Cally tomorrow," (Muttered, head down to watch his feet) "See if she remembers....Ian."

"Nobody will know if we do, though."

"Magic, Ice."

"No magic can follow everybody home to their rooms, and plant bugs. Too big of a cantrip."

(Pragmatically) "But, can see why they don't want you to."

(Then, seems to think of something, and swears under his breath in Yiddish)

Isn't as sure as ICE is that they couldn't. "We held the daggers, I wonder if that means something, counted as...accepting something We drank their wine, and other liquors. Beware of faerie gifts."

"The first party you may talk to who you wish." Said with a bit of a smirk.

(He looks up. His eyes are still too overbright, but he rasps) "Did the test. See if she remembers me, tomorrow. Then we'll know, nu?"

"Left her....in the alley, you know, so she won't get....didn't know if they were going to do her, too."

"You may have saved a life,' He says

She nods. "Then we will know." She pauses at the end of the trod. "You are ready? Any more questions?" Asked of them all. "They would not have harmed her...more than likely. Still, Earl might be right."

"Better safe than sorry. Those redcaps looked....kind of....hungry. Yeah." (He looks -tired-, swaying a little on his feet) "I better go to the shop. Still safer. I can make it."

(He flicks eyes to the others, at 'any questions')

A look to Zara, "You want me to walk you home? Or him to the shop?"

"Ice. My house. Make sure you get breakfast, nu? No Nockers with questions."

She offers her hand to Ice. "Hands again then. For me to lead you back. Perhaps it is good you did not have to come alone."

A nod to Thirteen at that

Zara takes Ice's hand, then Earl's.

(He takes the proffered hands, belatedly)

And she leads them back though the twisting trod until it turns into the sides of the hedge maze, then she leads them out again into the garden of Firnost, back to safety, such as it is.

(He mumbles a thanks as they emerge, to Thirteen. And will trail the others in. He will stop to stare transfixed at the balefire for a minute, but pulls himself back to go after the bike helmet in the closet)

He gives a soft squeeze and walks with her until they get to the garden of Firnost

(Then he actually does think better of it, just heading out the front door)

Low, to Earl. "Make sure he gets there in one piece?"

"I best catch up then." He gives her hand a quick squeeze and hurries after

(Earl gets snapped at a little, he doesn't need a damn babysitter, he should walk Zara home. He's a grown Wilder. Presumably, troll stubborn wins out, though, and they'll go in sullen if a little meandering and weaving silence?)

OOC: Sounds good. BIC: Sets jaw and walks along as ICE berates him. Yawns of the sluagh keepsi t up to long, and goes with him all the way home. "You owe for the dance so stop whining." That he can talk about

(Ice won't beat his head against the brick wall for more than ten minutes or so. And that earns Earl a glower and -- miracles of miracles, Ice shuts up!)

(He has the key to the shop, and mumbles asking if Earl wants to come in, sleep in the horror show of the 70's camper, and if he does, Earl will probably have nightmares of shag carpeting and disco. If he doesn't, ice actually grumbles a thanks, and they part ways?)

Earl will camp out there, and text Zara they made it there

(The camper is a -- will let Zara-p describe that monstrosity of orange and avocado green shag, for future reference. Suffice to say, Earl should wake up with a porno moustache and a gold chain under his leisure suit) (Endscene?)

He'll also help ICE dispose of any evidence of blood etc. if need be.
