I think that aspect would be more effective in a TT campaign where there are actually different groups of people to go blend with :)

Herberno-Viking... mmm kills the idea of having a young wilder or older childling squire appear at RV and pestering either Frank or Brekke as "I understand you have no squire! Fear not, I shall be that squire!"
