As Dio fusses over, the others of the seven are similiarly outfitted or tended to while Sparrow gets to enjoy the show with some amusement to see Dio go. Not that Dio is frivilous. She really does have excellent eye for fashion fitting the person.

Dio is not frivolous. Well, not entirely - her old friend enjoys flirting and gossip and fashion. But Dio is a Fiona sidhe, and those are tools and weapons in her hands. The right outfit can snub or elevate. A glance can form alliances. Optics matter, and Bright Winds will appear both strong and magnanimous when they appear before the count. Bold, competent warriors bedecked in blue, white, and gold.

"VERY nice" Dio says stepping back

Gerd feels like she just got attacked by Sylvi's more aggressive twin. And yet, the look works for her.

Seven warriors, each with a silken favor on their arm - personally tied on by the Baroness, representing each hue of the rainbow.

"Blue seems to suit Rivervale's own." Sparrow says softly to Gerd as she adds that finishing touch.

"Thank you" Gerd says "One of my favorite colors still. I just..." She blushes lightly "This a really good outfit"

"Dio's an artist."

"Oh, I just love what I do" Dio says "And every woman deserves to strut her stuff"

And indeed - Dio found a blend of navy to go with the sky blues, lacy, witchy details that don't detract from the unified-but-not-uniform effect.

"You're down playing it, Lady Dio I... " Gerd admits "I need to remember what this outfit looks like so when I return it, I can get something close to it when I get home"

"Return it?" Dio looks baffled "Why ever would you return it?"

A little smile from Sparrow.

"Because it's not mine?" Gerd asks

"Nonsense" Dio huffs, then looks to Sparrow "Sparrow, your friend is a lovely young lady, but she does I believe the clothes are like Chows, they should be loyal to just one owner, it's their nature"

"Surely, this outfit has found an owner. Clothes are like cats, they pick."

"And this one has picked you, Emissary" Dio nods "There, settled, done. We move on"

Gerd inclines her head "Then thank you for the kind gift. Or at least introducing the clothes to me and vice versa. "

"Most welcome, dear" Dio is already double checking Nessa

Nessa stretches back to look over her shoulder, and is uncertain. "This is not too... too much?"

"Oh tosh, it looks good on you, and will bring honor to us"

"I'm not sure how much we can truly assist in only three days. What if they need more help?"

"Then you will have bought them time to get it" gerd suggests

A smile to Gerd. "Now who's the one looking at the bright side!" Cheered up.

"You're infectious, what can I say?" But gerd allows a small smile
