"Baroness?" Morthwyl blinks "Are you aware your wings are... purple?"

Whether Sparrow is aware her wings are purple or not before this, that a piskiei might have tested keys on them, is up to her player, of course

"...What?"

She flares to check, then laughs.

"We've been having a purple plague this past week. It does seem to fade after a few days."

"Lot of purple at the house too" He ponders. He was not shown the keys but there might be a connection , "Well, I suppose for you it's not so different from dying a streak in your hair"

Indeed, Sidhe beauty is working wonders with the color

"Not entirely the best match for my hair, but I will survive."

"It is our advantage as sidhe" He smiles "that anything can be salvaged"

"True enough. And how are you, Sir Morthwyl?"

He blushes "I have moved in ... and find myself adapting to it."

"My lady is mortal and yet, quite exceptional but she does have her way of doing things. And I have mine." he says "Apparently, drinking directly from an orange juice carton to save time is a crime"

"She is kinain, though, is she not? That can help..."

"I do fear drinking directly from the carton is a privilege reserved for bachelorhood."

He winces "I was afraid of that."

"I do worry she might suffer dream struck if I enchant her too often. Your house is expert in these things... perhaps a bit of advice in how to balance it? She wants to be enchanted most of the time"

Sparrow squints. "It might be best to ask some of our DeBukes - they seem to have found a good balance for it."

"Bix might make time " He concedes

"Bix is good people, and more experienced with magic than he lets on."

"Much to Otha's frustration" Amused

"In troll terms, he's been Mountain-trained. The DeBuke Mountain is secretive, but powerful."

"I keep hearing that. It's odd, no, alien to me, that somehow they've evaded monarchy rule in all it's forms. The cost they pay for it, I must wonder if it's worth it. Only themselves to trust?'

Sparrow shrugs. "One must admire their perseverance, I suppose."

"I suppose" he nods "Ah, but I should ask, how are you doing? Grete and Catir are getting along?"

"Mostly? I am trying to make them both feel special. I didn't exactly plan on being a surrogate parent, but here I am."

"Me neither" He admits "I adore Irene. She's an angel... albeit it with sticky fingers. Felicity was supposed to be just my squire but.. I am more than fond"

And his eyes light up "They're good kids'

"Piskies can't help it. I worry about her getting in trouble with that - but she does give things back once she seems to realize that she shouldn't have them."

"And Felicity... well, sidhe childlings might have old souls, but they are still children. And they have needs they don't like to admit. So I guess we're both in that boat."

"Oh yes. Fierce at that age" He smiles "Determined to show you the logic so apparent to them that we wilders have forgotten. Did you know, for example, that Unicorns drag their horns through rivers to play said rivers so water flowers can grow ? I have heard of no book that contains this knowledge. It's not even in the movies or shows they like. But Irene and Felicity are SURE of it, and despair that I did not know this 'obvious' thing"

"Is that so?" Nessa trots up. "I didn't know they had a connection with plants!" Her own mane and tail are.... also streaked with purple!

"Nessa, how are...." A look at the tail "Okay, it appears to be a plague" but humorously

Sparrow brightens, like the sun peeking from behind clouds. "Hi Nessa."

"Oh! You too?" Nessa laughs joyfully at the sight of purple wings.

Sparrow grins and fluffs her purple plumes.

"I stepped in as a distraction for poor Grete." A smile. "She likes purple in her crystals okay, it seems, but not on her own self."

Purple tail swishes!

"Grete is not a girly-girl. Hopefully Irene didn't kick up a fuss?"

"And lose the chance to make an actual ponytail purple? Not at all." A grin.

"Brave sacrifice. Okay so it IS Irene. How is she doing this?" He wonders

"Ganbold said something about purple being the color of a bruise, and the sign of a warrior who fought but did not succumb... I'm not sure that's the effect the girls were looking for though?"

An amused shake of her head at the mention of her new little brother, the warrior.

"I like the lad, I do. " A smile at this news

"It's not quite chicanery... fuddles tend to be more active..."

"It's impressive how many shades she can make. See, your pinfeathers are like a clematis, a more blue-y purple, and they have a gradient all the way through lilac down to bellflower..."

Admiring the Sidhe's plumage.

She spreads her wings for Nessa's examination - but her cheeks are distinctly pink beneath her sun-spatter of freckles.

"Irene does seem very, very fond of the color. Like when she 'borrowed' the prize capelet..."

"It's her nature as you said, a piskie" Morthwyl says almost protectively. He cares for the girl, loves the daughter of the woman he loves almost as if she were his own... and that's an odd feeling
