"A little keyed up now." She admits. "I was thinking I might go for a run."

A thought occurs. "Are people lost like that often? If mom didn't have family that 'knew' - she might not have been fixed... how many others might be lost out there every day?"

"Too many, frankly. It's why we have Haven and Rescue - the Escheat isn't by chance."

A chuckle "Your father is proud of you. Besides, you do what your mother does, nod a lot as he gets excited about some obscure tome" Dubh smiles "In truth, Otha has been studyin the matter..with Bix's help, of course"

"I can imagine some epic scholarly disputes there..."

"Yes but they make a fair team. Otha's view is that perhaps Centaurs came in more than one archetype, one bloodline, and that they are each represented in the family. Sage , Warriores, and healer... hence the family among us. Bix thinks that mortal dreams will have their way and we should look to sources more recent than the original"

"Well - haven't all kiths changed from modern dreams? Tolkien alone."

"Yes, of course they're both essentially sayingg that there's a reason Nessa and her family are each drawn to a niche but Bix and Dame Otha refuse to admit it"

"Can't admit they agree, of course not."

"Now, I should check with Hope on inventory... Nessa, if you have more questions, either see me later or hit up Dubh. Or Otha, of course."

A chuckle. "I like both of their takes. I get a rounded education between the two of them."

She bows to Sparrow, and to Dubh as an afterthought. Can't hurt, right? "I'll go on that run then."

Dubh inclines his head "A good day to both of you"

"Likewise." A soft smile for Nessa, a nod for Dubh.

And each goes on their way, the centaur on a run of pent up energy, Sparrow to check with the steward and Dubh? Well, Dubh has his own duties and life besides
