“Yeah! “ She hands or stones to Irene and anyone else who is close enough to have them shoved into her hands.

"You hafta.. like... get them to bounce." Irene sorts through for a flattish one, and gives it a sideways flick.

And it skips twice... three times!.. before going under with a plop.

"You gotta flick." Irene shows again.

Sparrow gives it a try, too.

She flicks...it goes off to the side. Ashlee sighs

"Try again" Catir says "I wasn't good with a sword until I got training"

Ashlee looks at Irene "Like.. twist and flick?"

"You hold it balanced up top, not like a ball..." She takes Ashlee's fingers, manipulating them into the right position. "See? The rock kinda balances on your middle finger..."

"Oh.." A smirk "that's rude. But cool" And this time.. it sSKIPS.. just once but hey

"Much better!"

Irene goes hunting for more 'good skippers.'

"You're GOOD at this, Irene" Ashlee is impressed

"It's like getting a perfect jump combo... gotta trust your hands."

"Your'e going to make a scary good archer" Catir says but her tone is approving

"Oh yeah! Archery is fun!"

"It would be cool if we grew up to be great warriors"

"I want to be... oh, not a warrior, but more... you know Jack?"

"All the stories have Jack. With beanstalks and tailors and seven-league boots?"

"Oh?" Felicity says "Was Jack a Piskie?"

"I thought he might be an eshu" Catir says

"I sometimes think he was rough on that giant" Ashlee commens

"But eshu are nice, I hope they visit again."

The girls all look at each other, then seem to agree "Okay. Unless we learn otherwise, Jack is a Piskie"

"Piskies like to go on adventures, too."

"We agree" Catir says and pats her arm "Just .... Jack is LEGEND so .. you understand why we might want him too.. but, well, sidhe have LOTS of heroes..."

"Trolls too" Ashlee protests

"Trolls too" Catir agrees "And I bet Wichtels. So yes. Jack is probably a Piskiee and one day you might adventure just like him"

"Or HER" Felicty says slyly "It could be short for Jaqueline"

"So... so I want to be like that. A hero, but not maybe a fighter?"

"Many heroes have cunning and sneakiness" Felicty says "There are wizards, there are good hearted sneaks, and more. It's not all stabby slashy pokey"

"Even House Gwyedion has some of those" A nod from Catir 'You could be a great 'clever' heroine"

She clearly knows and is aghastt the Gwyd doesn't

"He fights bad guys and finds lost things to take to museums!"

"Why?" Catir says "I mean, I understand bad guys, but why take lost things to museums?"

"So everyone can see them!"

"The one thing I don't know if I agree with" The Eiluned says
