"It stinks that you didn't get to be a childling."

"Oh, I was a mortal child and while life wasn't all peaches and cream I did have some fun I promise" he crosses his heart "And... " His eyes narrow in the distance "Kids. We need to stop now"

"Why?" Ashlee stops then blinks "Oh no"

Around the fort they were closing in on, are three great chimerical fins coming up from the ground. Shark fins.

"Let me guess," The Centaur says "Landsharks are a thing?"

"Well... well... maybe it's like a moat? We could jump over?"

"I don't think that's wise girls" He ponders "They seem to be digging through the ground somehow"

"Oooo if they mess up Grete's hard work she'll be SO mad" Ashlee says

"SO mad."

Ross being a grump is quite fussy about lettting little girls get into devoured by landsharks. SO...he turns them around.

But still they at least KNOW of the landsharks. And that's something they can work with.. next time
