Nessa turns, surprised!

"Pardon" She apologizes from behind them, "I should have announced myself" The Aesin is beautiful, her beauty is.. more alien, that's a good word. Still breath taking.

"Dame!"

Nessa repeats the bow she practiced earlier.

Otha looks impressed, "That's very good, Nessa. Courtly workings can be difficult for new fledges of almost any kith- except for sidhe. We are born to it." A graceful curtsey to the Baroness "Baroness, forgive my intrusion. I wanted to compare some signs seen, when I heard nessa's concerns I could not help but assure her her family was not alone. The portents are strong"

"If there are more of us out there... that's good. Then we won't be sure a rare creature for people to stare at... but I worry. What if other people don't know who - what they are? And think they are some kind of Chimera or monster?"

"That's one of the reasons I've looked into the portents. Bix has already informed the DeBukes, they're ..rather stubborn collection of modernist trolls but they have resources and would abide the right of rescue. Word is spreading but one never knows how folks will enact a duty exactly. Your family at least, is safe here, Nesa. I'm new to the Baroness, but she's most accepting of that which is.. not quite typical. Even for atypical fae" She speaks as if she is part of that

"Nessa has an interest in wild plants and herbs. And, it seems, her soul is like inclined. She has the most marvelous treasure that chrysalized with her - a guidebook, of sorts. I think she would benefit from going out to see the wild and untamed places."

She offers the chimerical herbalist's guide to Otha. "See, it just appeared, with the rest of my outfit. Like mom's bow and arrow, I guess?"

"I am..." Oha looks over it and , her touch if reverent "Nessa, it would appear you and I have some commonalties. I too love the wilderness and this book is amazing. Perhaps you were a healer in a past life. " She looks wistful about something then nods to Sparrow "I'll be happy to take her with me sometime if she likes, Baroness. Her father seems to know the land better, but as I said I enjoy camping and more and I know the dreaming side of things."

The name on the book is smudged or blurred, not legible. "I would love to see more out there..." She gives the sidhe a bit of a look. "How are you for, um... roughing it?"

A proud look "Don't let the delicate sidhe features fool you. My House has some of the finest hunters and woodsmen you'll ever find. I can live off the land if I have to."

She ducks her head a bit in apology. "I'd be happy to go out . I mean, out on the trails with you!" Redder now!

"I think the two of you would be a wonderful team."

"So, Nessa - if you are concerned about any debt, go - learn. Become a healer and herbalist and woodswitch."

"You think I could?" She hugs the book to her chest, and nods. "I think, maybe, yes. I will do what I can to learn."

"I'll get some gear and.. OH!" She reaches for her own notes and hands them to the Baroness "I got so excited I almost forgot my purpose is Seer" A blush of her own

"I don't mind! It's an exciting thing."

The notes appear to be portents of other locations where new arrivals are set to be, or at least likely to be. In addition, there are some 'regular kiths' that might arrive here or there the usual way but it is, as portents are likely to be, vague. Speakinng of places such as 'Where the She-Wolf Walked Four Corners' and 'Land of Fiery water'

"How exciting!"

"Yes, alas it is the nature of portents to make sense AFTER they come to pass, but one never knows"

"True. I can imagine the frustration... but I wager it's also very satisfying."

"I can leave you to your discussion... maybe I can get some supplies together?

"That would be very helpful, Nessa. Please ask the steward for supplies for camping and tell your folks if you feel you need to. We won't be glamping though"

"How long do you think we'll be gone? I don't want mom to worry, she might call in the cavalry. And she IS the cavalry."

"Normally I'd call that an idle boast but having met your mother? Three days at the most sound fair? After all I maybe needed here by then"

A grin and she heads down, waving after her.

"I do appreciate you checking in. And we'll get eyes alert for new changes."

"She's a likable sort" Otha says once the Centtaur trots off, then looks to SParrow "yes, it can be frustrating. But that book on her, it's... promising. More than promising. It's like a guide and a gift both from the dreaming from her. Baroness, I think the Dreaming maybe giving YOU a gift with her in a way."

"I.. I mean, fledges are a gift, certainly..."

"I mean, she may have a place HERE that could be useful to you or your hold or your people in time to come. Perhaps I'm leapinggn to conclusions. But look at the trifica . A Warrioress. A sage guide, and now a possible healer?"

"They will be assets. I hope they choose to stay." She smiles.

"And I get to go camping" Pleased

"True!"

"When I was trying to become a Huntress in House Aeisin I had such frustratingg times with people, but the wilderness itself? Wonderful"

"I think you feel about it the way I do about sky."

A blush "Perhaps"

"I best get my own traveling gear and outfit. Pardon, Baroness"

"Of course, Dame. Good travels."

A curtsey and she goes to change in her gear

Otha is ready soonn, dressed in huntress garb, Otha is out and ready to go

And Sparrow finds Hope nearby observing "She seems happiest in nature."

"She does. Luckily, we have a lot of that here. Hopefully, she and Nessa will take to each other."

"Seems to me Nessa greatly admires you," Hope says "I... Baroness, you've been most open with us and casual at times. May I say something in that vein?"

A gentle eyebrow. "I value your advice. Please, speak freely."

"Are you making any friends here? I.. I worry you're working so hard to overcome the stigma of being a sidhe that folks may not be giving you a chance. And you're so very nice I think you'd make a wonderful friend. At first, I was worried about you, now I worry for you. It's one thing to have loyal subjects, it's another to hang around wonderful children, but sometimes I worry you don't have a friend to hang out with. though I suppose Dubh counts but he's a bit stuffy.
