"In my experience, there are very few zero sum situations."

"Zero Sum?" In tone that says I am still just a kid you know?

"Zero Sum means.. oh, in order for me to win, you have to lose."

"Oh" She says "Like a duel?"

"If you get something, that means I am losing. It's no way to negotiate, but some egotistic fulls will dive into that mindset."

"Ah, even a duel can be handled so that honor is satisfied without lasting harm."

"Oh, you mean folks who thinnk if they dont' crush another, they've lost" She says "Its why I don't like some Ailil I met." A pause "Dame Clare is okay though"

"Dame Claire is, yes."

"How is Dame Otha? "

"Otha seems to be doing well. She has been exploring our wild places, and we have quite a bit of that. When she visits the hold, she has a rather healthy debate with Bix."

"She's very good with nature." A sigh "I kind of envy her being able ot speak to critters"

"Hm. Perhaps you could seek training in Primal?"

" I have some but I don't affect animals yet. I can willow whisper chimera though" She says "maybe she could help me do it with fuzzy things. Like Yuri or Ladybird"

She nods. "I think you should ask her. I am not that skilled in Nature, but I think Dame Otha may well be."

"I will" She says then looks thoughtful then glances over at Dubh "Mmm but who will pester Dubh while I'm busy?"

A laugh, "Well, Grey? How shall you manage?"

"I'm sure you'll make up for it later" Gray says to the young girl "or maybe the baroness will promise to bother me from time to time?"

A smile. "I think I could do that."

"Good!" Catir says primly "Then I am off." And she bows
