"Your pardon, I am Sir Sergei. " He decides not to mention his House in a land festering with Sluagh. THough no doubt they know. "I bear a gift for her" He looks at the pup at his side

"Sergei!" Sparrow greets him with a bright smile, then a pause. "That... oh my, that is quite the puppy." Ladybird wags. Friend?

"His name is Yuri" He looks to the side after bowing to the baroness.

"I don't remember anything like this at home. Please, take a seat. Would you care for a beverage? Anything for Yuri?"

Ladybird WAGS. But she's being good! Good girls wait!

Yuri holds SO still, but he wants to meet the new dog! Inquisitive look

"I would not say no. But as for Yuri, well, he's for you"

"Oh for heaven's sake... Ladybird, sit."

Blink. "For me?"

"Perhaps we should let them interact a bit," He nods "Yuri is a OVCHARKA" He says "A Russian Bear Dog. Pure bred. Fae blooded. When he grows he should weigh roughly 50 Kilograms. They are live stock guardian dogs. And, because he is fae blooded. He can walk on the silver with you, patrol dreaming aspects of your hold."

Yuri wags as he is mention, and tries to look impressive!

And if his head drifts to see Ladybird..well

"I... I see the merits of such a dog. But, pardon - would he do well when summer hits?" Concern. "I know not all breeds can tolerate summer cuts..."

"Fortunately the breeder gave me instruction which I wrote down on the best summer cut for him in this climate. And, I have been aclimating him to warmer climes slowly while I've had him. I am told you can change his name if you do not like it."

"Yuri" Sergei fusses, then he looks back at Sparrow "I think he prefers the term cosmonaut"

"Ah - russian, as you say."

"He responds to English commands as well... I made sure of it. Now, this dog is a warrior... a killing machine IF you need him to be..."

Yuri's head tilts, and his ears flop, half hidden in the floof.

"Which... we might. Unfortunately."

A murderous tongue lolls.

A tiny laugh.

"But he is a dog, and thus with social pack needs too. " Then she laughs, Sergegi glances over "And he is a puppy. Of course"

"Well, may Ladybird approach?"

"Da," He says and says to Yuri "Yuri, this is ladybird, she is a friend"

"Ladybird, okay."

And the dogs are allowed to greet each other.

Yuri gets sniffed, and then bounces! He is a Russian Bear Dog! Respect his Discipline! oh..wag and bounce!

And Yuri just thinks the playbow is awesome! He has not seen a Lab playbow, and Labs are masters of it! He begins to play back... gamboling about her or trying to

Ack, no fair, his legs aren't that big yet! Bounce barck... chase..

"I take it you would like to keep him then?" Sergei says, with Russian deapan delivery

"It is a very generous gesture, Sergei."

"Ladybird does seem to have made up her mind."

"Labradors are gentle souls. It's best she establish a bond with him while he's young" Approving "And it my donation. You need guards and guardians. A dog such as Yuri may grow to be frees up another thane for patrol or post. " A look back "if I may, how do you like your new lands, Baroness?"

"They.. oh, Sergei, it's beautiful here. If I hawked, this would be a good place for it - great open skies."

"Perhaps. I'm glad you're getting to know the land. I am not bound myself, but we Varich tend to believe the land and the ruler are tied on so many levels... quite intimately. I have no doubt you will do right by your people. You strain mightly to do right by all. Sometimes too hard I think but , that is above my station- forgive. But the land itself, if it calls to you? You are blessed. How many souls long for a place that they do not even know the name of? I have seen souls stare at endless open farm lands who long to walk a mountain, and never have the chance to do so. I know people who long for the roar of the sea, but they cannot afford to be within it's music and so they sigh deeper inland. I'm glad this place brings you joy"
