And Chimera are birthed, most only long enough to flare ,soar, and vanish again in a bang

Mr. Novak isn't here... this night is the last night of big sales for his temp job, and he is sorely missed.

Les calls out, "Watch this!" HE prepares to light three roman candles and swallow them.

He does so, his belly bulges, and his eyes light up in a myriad of colors one after the other! "Burp" He says as a light goes off in his mouth.

Amity laughs. Maybe the new place isn't entirely awful.

"If you burned your taste buds it's on YOU young man.." Nes grouses, then hits the laser light show and it streaks and pulses....

The lasers start out in their set pattern, and then go wild in an array of patterns pre set... but no nocker device is... without a flaw. So instead of a patriotic song, "She Blinded me with Science" blares through the neighborhood with the fireworks almost acting as percussion as the lasers make forms of famous American Scientists ! Oh well, a Brit song but the rest is all American. Ben Franklin's smile shines! Carl Sagan looks up to the stars! Jane Goodall is holding a primate's hand! And more.

"Eh, American enough," She shrugs.

Amity sings along!

Indeed! Layne joins in with a 'your mom is COOL' aside between lyrics.

"She makes the absolute WORST fireworks!"

Jack comes up with a EXTRA large Ice cream on a cone!, THREE Lumps! He laps it up.

Jack Flap smirks "Mrs. Lee is serving ice cream."

Layne grins "Anne Marie is great! You want me to get us both some, Amity? I'll be right back." As the show goes on.

Ice cream, fireworks, and fun... maybe it's not entirely awful indeed!
