Of all her family, only Amity has a Bird's eye view of Bergen! And she learns where is what and what is where! Lots of fae at that apartment place, mostly wilders... they have a pool! And while it's not for folks who don't live there OFFICIALLY, this is not heavily enforced! Then there is the little hold of Goldfinch, they give music lessons and like Rainbow symbols! And of course, Rivervale itself which she learned about. Seems no one goes hungry there!

But she does encounter one problem... uhm.. a pack of problems.

She's flying around, INNOCENT as a lamb... really, when the little pigeon notices a shadow. Ready for a Hawk Or a Clem, she twists and sees... a Winged Wolf Chimera!

Well, that's a new one.

And then she sees another, and realize she's being kind of guided.

Oh, they're big.

She pushes her path lower, aiming for the trees.

"This one's clever, sister..." Says the pursuing one up high. / "Don't ADMIRE It, Frostfur, HUNT It," Says the female testily, "between the yew and oak" / Clearly they don't know that Amity gets good... well, okay grades in English!

She dips low, and Frostfur tries to 'trick her' to go between a yew and an oak. Where the female is about to swoop!

Pigeons usually flock, so a solo bird is quite vulnerable. But she heard them, so she veers right instead of the hoped-for left.

The female curses as she nearly whams into a limb trying to adapt to the change, "Son of a hairless Ape! What are the odds?" / "Don't blame me, Grimsnarl, I did as you asked," Frostfur is laughing a bit at his sister's frustration but he tries to circle around to take a new approach for another pincher attempt.

The skywolves are large and strong, but the pidge is small, fast, and very agile.

And is frustrating by sticking to tight spaces and branches!

Good luck following her through dense foliage! Does that cooing sound like laughter?

"Keep pursuing, when she hits the clearing she'll be open," Grimsnarl tells her brother, "Just keep pushing her West." / "Got it," Frostfur says.

Oh, there's a clearing to the West. Mmm good to know.

She notices that to the SOUTH West there is a pine with a rotting branch, and to the NORTH West there is a group of crows.

She's got no intention of going that way - no, she'll weave through the trees in circles, to see if she can shake the metaphorical tale.

Her turn abandons West entirely, a right angle zip to the South... there's a WHAM sound! As Frostfur did not make that sharp a turn himself , a growl "I think I hate this bird... it's worse than the glowing one near that small holding."

"Argh, I agree, this thing is no ordinary chimera nor enchanted pigeon... it's too smart and... oh dear Brother, hit that hard again you'll look like a wing bulldog." Sis is amused a BIT despite being frustrated.

Ooo... wasp nest ahead!

She turns and wheels, luring the wolves close to the nest.

Flicking her wings so they watch HER, not the nest, and then, veering up up up and the wolves? Well, they meet at the nest, to their credit, the don't SMASH the nest, but breaking it is enough and... well, BUZZZZZZZZ!

Wasps are NOT nice. Wicked Anglo Saxon Piercers are territorial! And the cries of the Sky Wolf siblings turns to YIPS of alarm and even one HOWL of pain.... they'll live! But they forget all about the hunt and retreat, trailing stinging insects!

Amity banks and glides off towards the lodge.

She 'homes' in towards the Lodge. She prefers urban, but the lodge is a cool building, so much woodwork, lots of room , nooks to settle in and on. The dogs wag when they see her, now having her scent.

She is rather fond of the rafters, actually.

She stoops towards Edie, a play-strike, intended to draw near but pull back up without contact.

She might find odd marks, if she spoke the black tongue of mordor, she would know to read them properly... who knows what dark saying they have? (Possibly "S 🖤 D")

Edie gives a playful dodge, she's no longer a pup but appreciates the guardianship training.

Echo is younger and barks excitedly. A voice says "Echo what's up?" Heavy footsteps. That's not Vali though, whoever the guy is.

Amity trills. Swoop and dodge, lead and chase, back and forth.

New voice? With a clatter of flight feathers, she swings to the low eave of the porch.

Another troll, burlier than Vali, and no where near as handsome, a blighted visage under a shaved head. He has a truly UGLY axe with a history. And yes, some armor.

An inquisitive trill.

"Oh," The big fellow looks up, "Hey kid, I got told about you. I'm Olgar, Storm of the Lodge, Rover of the trods though I stick closer than I used to. Here, let me take a sec." He closes his eyes "If you want."

"I'm opening them again in five... four..."

There's a girl now, still perched on the edge of the awning. Her sneakers are swinging.

"Huh," he says "SO you're Amity. You... you got some leaves in your hair kid," he gestures to a tree from all that close tree encounters.

well, a tree leaf. Not a whole tree.

"It's funny, meeting a Rover with dogs. You look an awful lot like a troll. But it seems most trolls are actually secret pookas." She inspects her hair, plucking out a leaf. "Oh, those are feathers."

To be fair, there ARE feathers scattered in her hair, and traced down her neck and lower arms.

Olgar grunts "Well, the nobles get fussy when we call ourselves Knights of the Way and stuff. And I'm a troll... Unseelie Court and proud of it." THough to be fair, he doesn't seem that unseelie ..but there are signs he's a LITTLe bit Unseelie. Unseelie curious, his brother would say.

She tilts her head. "And that's okay here?"

"The struggle continues," Olgar says matter of factly, "But while the openly unseelie may get looked at first when they're trying to find the cause of a trouble, they're still loved and welcomed in this barony. Well, loved if they would have been loved anyway... pardon the sap talk. If you or your family are unseelie they're still welcome here. Just stick to the Escheat and you're gold. I can name at least five other Unseelie in the area if pressed. Though I'm the only troll leaning that way currently that I know of. We got a redcap, a pooka, at least one sluagh, and some satyrs."

"....what about thieves?" Quiet and gentle, innocent enough, but it is easy enough to answer that question.
