The stars , being chimerical and from the deep dreaming, actually have quite firm opinions about going from stars to shooting stars.... they've had better nights to be sure!

One star in particular, began to ponder it's own awareness...

"Ah … ! What’s happening? it thought.

Er, excuse me, who am I?

Hello?

Why am I here? What’s my purpose in life?

What do I mean by who am I?"

But the autumn world is very harsh on copyright infringement, and before that particular star could get further into it's plagiarism, it smashed through two oaks (no relation to the dog) and a mailbox!

Thus sating the bloodthirsty fans of Douglas Adams

Another shooting star, soon to be a crashing star really, had a different mantra, "I'm a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar!"

It was cocky, it was confident, but it hit a wall of Dreamer pain, for it would always be 'too soon' to remind them of that.

And it slammed right into McGillicudy's garden! Totally destroying the sour little veggies she grew

The third shooting star, realizing pop culture and literary references were death, kept it's damn yap shut

only to realize gravity didn't really respect the strong silent types that much

Still, at least it landed into the lake, spewing water up quite high...

finding itself in the lakebed stuck, the shooting star, now a shot star, grumbled to itself "I could have at least said 'Hey y'all watch this' and made it seem like I MEANT to do that"

But the moment was lost for that, and frankly it's a rather foolish phrase anyway

And so, three dreaming stars turned meteorites awaited discovery
