Regardless of other continuities, Jaymes DOES get bacon and blueberry pancakes and coffee served in bed for Father's Day. So does Tove.

Tove laughs "I think I'm horning in"

"Mmmm" Jaymes smells the bacon ad blue berry pancakes ("This is very nice. Thank you.")

"Well, it'd be rude to bring up just one breakfast."

"So mannerly"Tove smiles "It does smell good honey. I'll let your father steal some of my bacon if he wants so it's really HIS day"

"Fair enough. And I gave CJ his breakfast, too."

"Oh you're an angel" Tove says

"mmm" Jaymes grunts ("I'm going to be spoiled")

"If this about you taking the day off..." Tove hmmms "You're allowed, you're the bosss"

"You are allowed. We could go fishing?"

"FIshing... that's been awhile hasn't it?" Realization. Jaymes really doessn't take much time for himself "Do you want to go fishing? Some girls think its gross"

Tove smiles "I go for the company. I won't presume to speaak for our daughter"

Brow.

"When was I ever a girly girl?"

"You're the best daughter ever" He assures "Girly girl or not"

"She is kind of like a Disney princess with animals" TOve observes

Brow.

Tove dimples ("Well, I think I'm funny")

"Yes dear" Jaymes says indulgently, then seems to think it over "Fishing would be nice. Been a while and I always find it peaceful. Our stream, or the lake?" The stream is more of a hike

"Our stream."

"Our Stream it is" He nods

"Finish up breakfast," TOve rises and gives him a kiss "I'll make us some snacks for later in the day"

"It'll be nice. Remember how you took me fishing before?"

Fishing trips, of course, occurred long before Dag and Jaymes took the adoption oath - while the former still lived with the Browns, even.

"It's been awhile, but yes" A smile "i thought you'd b skittish about the worms"

"Well, I still don't like them that much."

"True, but you've got paitience and a sure hand" He smiles 'what was the first fish you caught? Trout?"

She squints, thinking, and nods.

"You showed me how to cook it, too."

"Yes. And your mother made sure we cleaneed what we caught" he nods

"Darn straight" Tove nodsfirmly

Grunt. "This was before you had the nerve to talk to her."

"Oh" He blushes lightly

"But yeah, Tove keeps us out of trouble."

"I try" Tove has risen and goes down to make snacks for a basket for fishing trip

"She does" He nods

And soon, a wonderful hike and fishing commence. Jaymes enjoys it throughout and Tove whispers "Good idea. your dad loves it"
