Frank and Dagmar are both on patrol, neither expected a partner in this, but there you go. Someone put them on the list together. Technically, as Storm as well as Chief, Brekke has final say on patrols

Dagmar is not always the most talkative of creatures. Flyswatter on her back, and some of her armor (she rarely dons the full plate.)

Brow. Looks like CJ got the phone.

TXT: Hi CJ.

TXT: LIJAETPOIJERAWTN!

Yeah, looks like Cap lock is on

And after a pause TXT: I am so sorry. Your mom here. CJ got the phone

TXT: Which I see you figured out 🙂

TXT: hi mom

TXT: How is patrol?

TXT: quiet

TXT: Okay. Scholarship stuff came in the mail when you return

TXT: oh

TXT: It'll be okay. It'l lwait until you get back. It's unopened and waiting for you at your convenience

Frank doesn't stray too far from the texting teen, but at the same time gives her space to communicate.

She does look up from her screen on the regular!

A cry of fear, some animal? Runing for it's life behind some trees as a redcap gives chase! The cap has a machete, and they don't recognize him

"Hey." Low rumble of warning.

Frank goes quietly on guard. "Do you know the 'cap?" he rumbles softly.

She shakes her head.

"Fuck off " the cap says "This thing is mine..ha, watch it panic!"

Grunt. She just... stands in the way, like a big blue wall.

"Hey" He warns, eyes naorrwing "You wanting troube, Blue girl? "

And the cap strokes his machete, a little blood from his finger and he shakes it before her...

It's unnerving... and she might feel the urge to get out of the way

SHe feels the urge, but duty first.

"I don't want trouble. So how about you tell me who you are and what you're doing here?"

"Name's Bloodletter X" He says but seems surprised it didn't work... some of his steam gone "I just never seen a chimera like that so I'm gonna kill it so I can brag about it"

True!

A sigh. "Chief won't like that."

"WHAT Chief??" He snorts

"You think this is lawless land?"

"So who is this Chief?" the loudmouth asks

He looks over at Frank, realizing there are TWO trolls here

And one of them is REALLY big.

Which is saying something, as Dagmar ain't short

"Chief's in charge here. This is Rivervale."

"Welcome." rumbles the big one quietly, like the snore of a volcano.

"Oh yeah? Who's your chief? Some sidhe with an indian fetish?"

Snort.

"Bigger. Bluer."

He does seem more nervous as Frank says his hellos

"Your prey is long gone." Frank points out "If you wish, I will bring you to the Lodge for our hospitality."

"Ferget it" he snorts and walks off, trying to get a strut on... but he sure struts fast awaay from them

and goes faster the further he gets
