Symon's vision looks back, back back...rewinding in jutting jerks, and he sees the image of Tove answering a phone. He hears her talking "Yes, this is Tove King. I'm not interested in buying..." a gasp, she nearly drops the phone then says " Eamon? You're on a phone?"

"Eamon, what do you mean you're away from Thyle? No... I thought you were dead. Wait, who is after you?"

"Yes, yes, Atlantic city. A moment.. I'll get the adresss" She writes something down

Not expecting to hear any sound, he tries to catch a glimpse of the number (or name if Caller ID'd) on the phone, and watches Tove's lips to see if he can read her end of the conversation. Pleasantly surprised as a tinny echo of the past reaches his ears... perhaps he does not, after all, know everything there is to know. Not that he would ever admit it to Vali.

Symon's lips move silently and his eyes flit back and forth a bit to Dagmar's vision, seeing things she doesn't see.

"Of course I'll honor my oath." She says as if feeling a pull "I'll find a sitter now!"

Dagmar watches Symon intently, since she cannot see his own Glance.

She hangs up, then looks about "Damn, Dagmar is at school... Jaymes at work" She sees her son is asleep... and rushes out to get Frank or Brekke... and.. the cantrip ends

A frown pulls down the corners of his mouth even as his vision clears, and he looks back up at Dagmar. "Does your mom still have oaths back to that city she grew up in? The one that treated her like shit?"

"I... she's never said anything?"

"She hates Thyle. So does dad. They don't talk about it much."

"She got a call from someone named Eamon - obviously not a call she expected, she nearly shit herself by her expression. She thought he was dead, and someone is apparently after him. There was an address... in Atlantic city. And she said that of course she would honor her oath..."

He concentrates a moment - did he glimpse the address?

"If there's an oath, of course she has to." A frown.

"Still no reason to be cagey."

Some casino?

"Looks like it's a Casino. I wonder if it's a gambling debt... or just a big, busy place where they can talk and not be noticed? Yeah, I don't like the cagey part. Maybe it's an Oath she's not proud of. Or something she was forced into?"

It occurs to Symon (And possibly dagmar) that Torin might know more about some Eamon

Of course, it would have to be asked in such a way so a grump wouldn't get involved in THEIR quest, but that's the gamble

"Torin would know about Thyle..."

A slow nod. "But would he go running off to the rescue if we clued him in that something was up with his daughter? I mean, think of if it was you, and Jaymes..."

"Gerd could probably get us to Atlantic City..."

"I mean, since we have a few hours to catch up on..."

"Do you want to see if we can pry some intel from Torin first?"

She chews on a cuticle.

"Probably wouldn't hurt, maybe, if we are careful?"

"Let's check with him. We can lead with the fact that CJ is here and needs to be looked after... prod that protective gland."

"Trolls don't have a protective gland..."

A brow raised. "it's next to the one that lets you read scowls and grunts as a civilized tongue."

"Mmph." ("You're just jealous.")

Symon makes a pained expression back. ("Violent... monkey... dishwasher" he seems to need practice)

Dagmar snerks!

This is the trollish version of a guffaw!

Jaymes peeks out as if to hear what brought the loud laugh (Troll wise) "You two going to hang out a bit?"
