he actually looks alarmed

"That A on your paper says different. And...and if you don't help me, maybe I'll just have to tell people how smart you really are."

"Oh you're such a bitch" He grumbles

"That's a yes, then?" she says hopefully.

"FINE... but with an implied threat that if you tell anyone I'm tutorring I'll eat your rabbit"

She narrows her eyes. "You can threaten me directly if you want, but you don't threaten mine." Serious...but then she relents a little. "And I won't tell." Like I'd want anybody to know?

"Thanks, Dirk," she says quietly. Then a sigh. "I've gotta text my dad. Grant is sure to be getting on the phone with my folks, so I gotta do some damage control first."

"Good luck. See you after your Cheerrrleading practice"
