"Oh my" Tove says "That's WONDERFUL.. which ones?"

"California - UCLA, and Tennessee... and Bergen County Community."

"UCLA" Her mom says with surprise aNd delight

"Lady Vols?" Jaymes says impressed

"Lady Vols, yeah. They liked May, too."

"California's too far, though."

"We can make it happen if you want, honey" Her mom says

"THough we'd sure as hell miss seeing you" Jaymes admits "Save on winter break and summer. It.. does seem far away. " Jaymes, a King male, can be a softie

"I don't want to be that far away. I'm not.. I mean, I'm not sure if I'd do great at college?"

"We would support you" Both say firmly

"I mean, Bergen County is right here..."

THey look at each other, more married brain talk, then her father says "If you're doing that for us, don't worry, we'll be okay. If you want to stay closer to home, then BCC is just fine. But don't think you're limited"

"Who knows, you may get some more delayed offers" Tove nods

"But," Jaymes says "Definitely in the North East at the least. " he begrudgingly admits "I don't want you in California either. I just got you in my life yesterday"

"And CJ is just getting to talking..."

"MY sister" CJ says putting two words together none can deny

"Well, someone has opinions" Tove moves to CJ to pick him up, pleased

Tove then says "Dagmar, I think we should leave up to you which college you go to. But we are very proud you're going. "

"...What if I don't?"

They look stunned

"Well, that.. would be unwise I think" Jaymes says "A college education can really better your life."

"But it's.. I don't know what I want to do, so.. so isn't that wasting a lot of money?"

He says "I'm more worried about you being stuck in a dead end job like your father. It's honest work, but if it weren't for your mom, and the help we get, we couldn't afford this house. College is a way for you to find what you love, and have a better life after you get that paper"

Tove looks a bit taken off guard at that, then looks to Dagmar "I always thought it would be something involving animals" She admits

She chews on a hangnail. "Like a vet? I dunno."

"Maybe an animal tender at a zoo" She says "Actually. THough you'd be a good vet."

"Brekke got an associates for Park Ranger" Her dad adds "I THINK It was an associates"

"I don't think I could stand putting an animal down, though..."

"Maybe training seeing eye dogs?" Her mom asks "I saw show about that. Did you know out of 800 dogs a year, only 300 qualify?"

"Maybe a fireman?" Her dad says "Pardon Fire FIGHTER"

"That.. sounds daNgerous" Tove worries

"Firefighters save folks..."

"And get a Dalmation" Jaymes adds "It's mandatory"

"It is not" Tove eyes her husband
