"Well, it's good exercise." The giant clearly gets lots of exercise himself.

"Don't get me wrong, it's getting colder. I may not rough it when winter sinks in"

"There's a ranger station not far from here; if you get in trouble while you're out, you could try there."

"I will" a nod

The giant, although friendly, seems ok with walking in silence.

"Damn, it's so beautiful like this" he says as the Near Dreaming shapes tthe clouds "Other ways too, but this is like what we hope for"

"You may forget details, but remember and keep the inspiration." Frank advises.

"If I can keep how I FEEL now, I'll die a happy man.. thouggh I'd like to last to 60"

A soft chuff of laughter "It will not always be easy; you may retrain a small shard of this feeling, though."

"Easy? It's nearly impossible. There are forces in this world hungry to keep us down, so selfish, they'd rather lose the planet that lose profit. Seems everyone's got a cause of 'Fuck you, I got mine' ... and I don't know how to change that... yet. Odds are against my generation, but backs to the wall, we might as well try"

"Man has tried for millenia to solve that conundrum, Harry. It speaks well of you that you are making the effort."

Frank chuckles again "Your apology is accepted, but know that I do not blame you for the state of the world, Harry. I honor you for your struggle to mend it. My people could have done more to help it's healing, I think."

He moves along "I couldn't know enough to ggive your people shit about it. HEY.. . that butterfly is glowing"

Frank watches it; sign of trouble?

"It's amazing. THIS is what nature should be like" A smile

The giant nods. "Pleased to meet you."

"Same" He smiles "Okay, we're only a mile from my House . I can make it from here, I think"

"Mind if I stick with you a little further?"

"I think you might get shit from my family... we got a guard and a gated fence"

"I'll stop just before that, then."

"Okay. Worried about anotherr three headed snake?"

"Want to make sure you get home safe."

"I COULD get my gun back" He reminds, a bit amused

"If you want me to hand it back I will." Frank agrees.

A thought "Nah. I.. it might not be there when I can't see aymore. Maybe you can ggive it to some other guy who can use it"

"You're a wise man, Harry."

"Doesn't feel like it" They come up to a 'private hill' with a gate of iron, not COLD Iron but still.

Frank pauses, and steps off to the side, out of sight. "I'll wait here. Good luck, Harry. Keep your dreams."

"Thanks Frank. Thanks for savingg me."

He moves o the gate and presses a button

"Where have you been?" a com squawks as a camera on the gate came on

"Day Dreaming" he answers.

There's a buzz, and in he goes.

Frank heads back to where he last saw Siv.

He finds her anotther mile out, but on land, checking the ground , tracking

He moves along so she can hear him and will not startle when he approaches.

"Dad.. i think i found clues" She says "There are largge chimerical footprints... and the nnear dreaming altered."

"Mm. Show me."

Indeed, the land scape looks like swirls of tropical jungle and arid hot desert.
