Dagmar hits the bag with the flat of Flyswatter's head.

Symon watches intently to see if the buzzing stops.

It gets angrier

“Harder! Should have brought bug spray” He says, feeling a little disgusted.

Hard to find it in there... angry buzzing ...

but on the third whap... she hits the BOOK so hard that it smashes the bug

and glamour leaks out

He carefully reaches for the bag and gives it a shake.

She grimaces. "Sorry."

tiny bug bits (Chimerical) come out trailing more glamour..

if they partake of it, they might get creative ideas

“Nah, don’t be. It’s what I was hoping for. Wasn’t sure if one bug would come out of that book or an entire swarm.”

He opens the bag and shakes out the remains, looking for the book.

"Not sure how much info you can get from a bug corpse."

“Maybe not much, but if the book is still there? Dirk could maybe whisper it. See who wrote it, so we know if we need to track down a ‘mastermind’.”

"Oh that was anticlimactic" Dirks grumbles

Dirk shrugs "I can try. " Sniff "I think it's a treasure..may need dross"

“Anticlimactic is good. It means e go home in one piece.” Symon checks his pockets and offers a cicada shell, wings still intact.

Meanwhile he scoops up the bug particles- also glamour, maybe dross, but he wants to check them closer before partaking.

Dirk takes the book... annd the dross, and chants "I ain't a big reader, but I am a big bleeder, so talk to me and annswer what I ask.. .if you don't i might tear you, and you better beware you, or I'll shove you up some random sluagh's ass" A brow beat bunk on a treasure

Symon feels a bit intimidated even without it pointed at him. Wait isn’t HE a random sluagh?

glamour flows and... dirk looks over to see what they want him to ask?

A glance to Dagmar. “Thwapper first?”

"Um. Does the book have a master?"

A nod. “Smart.”

"You got a master?" Dirrk whispers

"I don' even have a buyer... 10 years on that shelf, never sold.... " it whispers irritated

Symon considers aloud. “Could ask where the bug came from. If it can hold other critters. Or.. hm. Ask it what the nature of its magic is.”

"Your magic.. what's the deal?"

"I stood on that shelf for ten years... and folks would pick me up, secrets... ways to do things... but then they'dp ut it down, and said they could learn the same thing on line.." the book grows angry "I have hundreds of pages of how to ,annd they throw me aside becaause some jackwagon thinks the internet gives it to you sttraight? So great did my desperation grow that I realized I need to learn even more how tos.. and one day it happened, a mosquite landed onn me. I was used to swat it, and left there,, like I was nothing more than a brick. I willed my need and recreated the mosquito... and.. sennt it out. Every Dreamer it drinks from , it comes back to me, fuels me, gives me NEW knowledge. I have lego knowledge, I know how to make art for T shirts, and jewelry. And sttill nno purchasers.. well, onen day I'll drain them all... mhahaha, I'll know more than all the Dreamers combbined.. Encycopedia Surpremica, baby... today one bug, tomorrow, a swarm! Mwhahahaha.."

Dirk blinks and looks at Dagmar annd Symon, andn makes the twirling finger 'this thingg is nuts' gesture

Dirk shrugs.. and waitts to see if they have one more question

He still looks thoughtful. “If it could gather knowledge passively, like being in a library around people learning, or without sapping people. Might be worth working with. Not sure we can determine that with one question though.”

"Dunno, we should maybe burn it?"

“Maybe. But let me take it for now. I have an idea.

Dirk, ask it how long it takes before it spits another bug.”

Dirk turns to the book "How long before you can spit out another bug..."

"oh, in 13 hours, I will be gathering more how to again. Oh yes. Only this time, I'll not stop with one. I'll make one every 13 hours for a weekennnd then hoard all the know how"

Dirk looks at the book

“Shit. Okay.” For now he slips the belt off his narrow waist and wraps the book tightly, then shovers it in the bottom of his back pack. “I gotta take this to someone.”

"It's kinda psychopathic."

"You know what? It hurt Drake. I think you should let me eat it" DIrk protests, but Symon's hands are swift and he's already put it away

“Dirk!” He hisses, then offers, “think you can convince Drake to try glitter on his shirts? Some girls might like it. Mix the bug bits in and he can recharge.”

"Uh.. I can try" he takes the bug bits "But that's a bit fru fru for his usual"
