(Nadeen) TXT: Sounds like GOOD news what ever it is?

TXT: Mostly good kinda terrifying. 🙂

(Dirk) TXT: Folks always say it's good news, but it rarely ends in bloodshed when they do. 😞

And in comes Jaymes. twobit bounces along his feet

"Dagmar, Tove?"

"Yeah Dad?"

Tove comes down stairs 'Donn't be too loud. I just got CJ to sleep"

He nods "Okay. But we need to talk. I have news."

Jaymes motions both to follow him tto sit down

"Everything okay?" Worry

"It's fine, " Jaymes says, kindly "But does involve news of events at the lodge, and yourr Uncle Frank thought we might want to be told before it happened. Just betweenn him and us, okay?"

Tove raises a brow "Sounds very mysterious"

"It's a touch confusing, but nothing to be alarmed by"

"What's wrong?"

Jaymes blinks "Nothing's wrong. Just news"

"But again.." he says "Frank wanntts us to keep this quiet. So.. agreed?" He says again

Tove shrugs "Of course. Dagmar?"

"Sure."

"Frank is stepping down as Mountain, Vali will be stepping up" Jaymes says

Eyes widen briefly, then a brow furrow and a frown.

"Is he sick?" Tove asks worriedly

"no, he's fine" Jaymes smiles softly "He says he wants this and I agreed to support him. He's goinng to be trucking more, and then have more time with his family but he'll still be helping with patrols and more. he jus wanted us to know in advance so we wouldn't be shocked"

Scowl.

"Well," Tove says " I think Dagmar and I are shocked. Why is the Mountain doing this?"

"He didn't really say only that this is what he wantted. So I didn't pry" Jaymes shrugs
