Jonas looks at you both "Stop that" but he smiles a bit

She grins back. “What next?”

"Well, we win" A smirk

Actually there's a lot of milling about in the prep time. Allowing Piper to rubberneck a bit

A glance over towards Jonas rival shows he's got a girlfriend who seems to be as vapid as one could imagine such a man being attracted to.

However, it would appear with them, on the rival team is another lady, about piper's age, who could not look more bored, but tries to be nice to others even though she's clearly not socially confident.

And Piper overhears her .. humming? Piper knows a lot of tunes... and it's hard to come up with something original, but the third person on Tommy's team IS trying to do that... or maybe a fusion of two tunes alternating?

That's when the clinging vapid girlfriend looks at her and goes "Sis... you're not gonna try some of that weird music are you? Here?"

And just like that, the other lady (sib to Tommy's eye candy) loses the tune and looks to her shoes "no, of course not. "

Piper frowns a bit, and straightens up to step over. A smile at the ladies, and she offers a hand. “Figured we should do introductions all around. I’m Piper, and that tall drink of blond back there is Siv.”

Both sisters are brunette, though the sister on Tommy's arm has some fancy highlights. The one who was humming is plainer in make up and hair (Though Sylvi could work wonders with her)

"Yeah," Highlights grins "Too bad reach doesn't help for Golf ... this isn't basketball, or Jonah and Siv there would have a chance"

She gives her hand like she expects it to be kissed

Tommy says "This is Lynda" He says of his girlfriend

"Charmed" Lynda claims

"I'm Lori" The sister claims

“Lynda, Lori. My boyfriend’s name is Jonas. Not ‘Jonah’. Tommy seems to have a little trouble remembering, but I'm sure you ladies won’t have trouble.” Still friendly in smile and tone.

“Did I hear you humming, Lori? I’m a musician myself, so you caught my ear.”

"oh uhm... I learned how to play viola... my family paid for classical lessons" That did not sound like classical music she was humming though . Lori shrugs "Sorry, Jonas. I'll remember"

The shrug more about the viola than getting Jonas name wrong. THAT she was more firm on

Lynda laughs 'Like it's no big right? Maybe we should call him Jo-No, that would be kewt"

Siv ssmiles BIG "Like.. we could call you Lie duh"

Lynda makes a face at that

“Oh, I love the Viola! My mom’s name is Viola in fact.” Pronounced more ‘vee’ then ‘vye’.

Choosing to chat with Lori and let Lynda lapse.

“But that sounded more modern then most Viola stylings I know. Kinda like…” She hums a bit, trying to get the same inflection She heard.

Lori smiles 'That's a pretty name.. yeah, some folks don't know what a viola is and those..."

Lynda isn't one to be ignored it seems "Oh that fat violin ? She got an electric one or something.. whoever heard of an Electric Viola?"

Siv eyes down on Lynda (As Siv is taller, natch) and says "oh.. mmm"

“I have.” Smoothly back.

"It's like a new age of exploration with stringed instruments now" Lori forgets to be shy, "The original sound shouldn't be ignored but electric allows experimentation that has new options for folk and alternative blends , genre swapping and so much more I..."

Lynda touches at her hair, but realizes she can't see that high so frowns

"What is it?" She finally says

"Your highlights might be a bit strong..." Siv whispers "I think there's a bald patch that..."

"I'll be right back..." And off Lynda races

Lori, free of her sister, smiles and keeps on talking to Piper ".. well, you know, sounds like you're familiar with the new doors being opened musically"

“Definitely! Maybe we can jam sometime?”

"Oh i.. I'm not allowed.. I mean, they.. my parents expect me to focus on..." Lori is flustered but for just a moment, Piper saw glamour rising. Lori's a dreamer, or could be!

Tommy looks annoyed that Lynda left

“Focus on what? You know, music can stimulate the brain to higher learning gains, I read that in a study once.” Meanwhile, offering her phone. “Here, let’s exchange numbers.”

"Well I.. " A blush "They want me to focus on classical and only enough to look good as an extracuricular for Ivy league, but they want me to major in something... practical"

“I do music tutoring, actually.” A grin, holding the small fib. Who says it had to be a fib? “I could help you on Viola classic, while explorin stuff at the same time.” Chatting as they wait for the game.

"Yeah I.."

Finally Lynda returns looking mortified but here, she found a hat

"if everyone is ready to begin? We'll start calling out golf plans"

that from the announcer "And which group is out first..."

They go into congratulating and thanking everyone for showing up

Piper grins but quiets as the announcer drones on.

and then they're off.

"So.." Siv asks Jonas and Piper as in the distance, Tommy gets ready to hit his ball "Any cantrip ideas anyone wants to try?"

“Wonder if he’s the sort to ruin a good thing he has going. I wonder if he's faithful to poor Lynda.”
