"Mmmph" A look at Jaymes "Did you see our daugghte doing anything of the sort?"

"Nope" Jaymes says "Too busy being pampeed to notice such"

Tove ROLLS her eyes and goes back to preparing meals for others besides just CJ

Dagmar does make sure CJ eats most of his meal.

CJ eats the firrs have greedily, then flicks a few tto see if the dogs will chase.

"Hey now..."

And CJ laughs as Two bit climbs over Brown Dog's to get it first

Siiigh.

Okay. If little brothers were perfect it might get dull

"That's ennough of that" Jaymes rises and scoops his son up "If you play with your food, you don't get food"

"At least not once you're done eating"

CJ huffs but then Dad carryingg him isn't BAD per se

"I'm going to hurl your brother on the kid park swing" Jaymes says to his daughter "You want to come?"

"Sure."

"I'll have your lunches ready when you come back" Tove smiles

"Thanks Mom!"

And they go to the children's park, not so much for a teenage girl to do here but there's a bench with shade to chill at if she likes. Jaymes starts to swing his son "There we go"

There are ohter kids here. And a few mothers with them.

One of them, a brunette lady with a smug look, glannces over at Jaymes "His mother got you babysitting today?"

Furrow. "Dad likes taking CJ here. It's not babysitting."

Sam... does not look particularly related to either Jaymes or CJ.

"Oh well... I .." The woman gets fussy, "Now young lady..."

"Her name is Sam," Jaymes says "And, she's right. I don't baby sit. I am a father, to two great kids. Speaking of which, your son is eatinng a bug in the sandbox. If that's okay with you..."

The woman was already blushingg at having her bias called out, now however, she turns "Hubert!" And moves to her own boy who is indeed trying to devour a bug

Jaymes smirks and grunt-nods to his daughter ("Thanks. Some people, huh?")

"I'm gonna put him on the doodlebugs. He likes those." Focus back on the kiddo!

Jaymes nods and says with enforced serious tones "As long as he doesn't try to eat it"

"Heh" She sets CJ in the caterpillar-shaped bouncer.

CJ liked the swing, it goes HIGH.. but the Doodlebug is his friend, he imagines he's riding it just like his big sister rides her horses! Clip clop clip clop wooosh!

Or is it scuttle skiter skip?

Soon CJ has doodlebugged, and spinner-dood the whirligigs, and slid the slides

And .. his head bobs... but he's nnot tired ! he is a king, and he shall not yield to the tyranical powers of the sandmann.... head bob, eyes blinky ..yawn

"Yeah, totally awake champ." She buckles him into the stroller.

"Mm stubborn boy" A grunt from Jaymes, then a beat and "Must get it from his mother's side"

"Obviously."

An approving nod as they walk back, he does talk "I'm sorry if worried you" He is not saying it sarcastically

"Not like you meant to."

"True, but I worry about you when you get injured and you don't mean either" An admission

"Yeah."

"Your mom wants to pamper us both" A look "I think it makes her feel better. But... we let her do that a little, annd then I thinnk we should do something nice for her. She tries to bottle things up. Put on a happy face, but it wears on her too. Got ideas how to cheer her? 4th of July is a ggood start. nice one that. She loves when you cook with her"

"Uh... music?"

"I don't thin kshe wants me to try to sing"

"Bet she'd like it."

"mm.. if I do I need back up" A look at her

"Mom's poor ears."

"Heh" A nod "Yeah, but she's tough." A look at CJ "Maybe CJ will join us with a burp or something"

Snnoozing sounds from her little brother

"Well, not right now"

"No," A nod, then a thought "I could set up onne of the icey /slurpee machines for the 4th when your friends come "

"Ohhhhh."
