"They're cool. I like them. Dolly seems really sweet. WInston reminds me a little of Symon."

"Is it bad I kinda want to ask Don what the werewolf stories are about Gwydion?"

"Not bad, but he's a ragabash, they're tricksters, galliards are the story tellers. Doesn't mean he won't tell you, but he might pull your leg a little." A nod "Now Lulu, she knows some stories that surprise you"

"Lulu's... yeah, she's nice..." Lupe knows that tone. Dagmar might not realize she's using it.

"Attractive too" Lupe says with a smirk

Sam pinks. "I mean, I guess?"

"Sam, it's okay with me you like girls. This is the 21st centaury, and besides I know some Bleak furrys...err Black Furies."

"Uh, I mean. I mean... " Shrug.

"She's nice. She has a really nice voice. Um. It'd be nice if she met Tove, maybe. They could sing together. "

"Maybe, lulu is... well, I mentioned she was Lupus right? her parents were wolves?"

"Oh.." She falters. "Right."

"That doesn't mean she miht nnot like you, Daggmar, heck, I think she already likes you. It's jus she's in hard place. See, Bone Gnawers? We have very few wolf kinfolk, annd very very few Lupus born. We're more democratic than some tribes, but Concrete Lullaby is under a lot of pressure to mate with a kinnfolk wolf one day and keep it going"

"Oh, yeah. Right."

"But that doesn't mean you two can't get to know each other. She's kinnd of a pain in my tail sometime. She's..." A thought "Lulu has this sense of wonder. She wants to see things, do things, gather stories and share them, and she's ggot a very open heart, perhaps too trusting. I worry one day that her innocence will hurt her. But then I've got Sour Wind to balance her out I suppose. But with you? I know you're honest and a square dealer"

"I would protect her." Earnestly.

"You do know that she can turn innto a huge hairy killing machine right? " A grinn "But I get what you mean"

"Well, lots of different needs for protection. Dunno. She feels a lot like May."

"You know..." Lupe looks surprised, "I hadn't thought of that. yeah, she's not as tall when she's not hairy, annd there's some obvious differences, but she does have a May like qualiy doesn't she? No wonder you and I both want to shield her some"

She nods. "Someone special. Our job to protect them."

At that Lupe frowns

"What?"

"Actually, my job is to send her out to die if that's wha's required" Lupe grows sullen "Each and everyone of us is a soldier in the battle to save Gaia, and as pack leader, if I nneed one of them to die so others can live, or even to keep the world a bit purer, I'm supposed to order them to do it. I'll tell them it will be glorious. I'll tell them it will be honorable. I'll tell them what ever I have to to make them willinng, I might even lie. But .. yeah, that's what I do now. I don't just fight the wyrm, I send others to fightt too"

"That sucks. But it's duty."

"Yeah," Lupe nods "It is. I just,want you to understand so if you make friends with any of my pack and I get on eof them killed, that you don't hate me"

"I won't hate you. I'll be here for you."

And Lupe cheers a bit "Thanks. That means a lot. Sometimes I wish we'd been the same type of ... mythical being? So we could fight side by side more"

Sigh. Nod. "Yeah." She slings an arm around the smaller girl's shoulders, hauling her in for a hug.

And they hug, "But It's cool that i've go a friend on the 'wyld' side, and you've got one on the 'wild' side" A smile

"Agreed."

"but if any vampire tries to put the bite on May? I'm going to cut off his limbs and stick his torso and head on a spit and spin him over a bonfire"

"You really aren't mad that I helped out those falcon types? You're my favorite werewolf."

"Not mad, just surprised, and... wee bit impressed," She confides then she smiles "And you're my favorite Pixie"

"Sorry" A low voice "You really got to watch out for the Coraxes though. They can blab like nno tomorrow. Good folk, but not always grea with the secret keepin"

"Yeah" A sigh "And I'm SUPPOSED to help enforce them" A look at her "Oh I bet you will. See, it's a spirit realm, and one thing I knonw for sure? Your shell maybe mortal looking, but the spirit inside is a whole lotta fae" Low voice again as they are now near Dagmar's home, then she says "By the way? Concrete Lulaby loves musicals. She finds the emoting while you sing WONDEFUL, probably because sometimes she sings her own thoughts. You want to make sure she comes along for an evening? Show her broadway style musicals or even an opera, or a concert that's way over the top with passion"

"That'd be fun. And, like, we could be good - uh - test humans? If she slips up a little, less risk?"

"Plus, Tove and Torin know ALL the old songs..."
