"Chieftain Hewitt says he needs me there."

"And...I...maybe I can do good things."

"You can do good things HERE!" A crack.

"Me? Dagmar, the stuff I do for Rivervale, I mostly do somewhere else."

"But you come home!"

Jaw jutting out again and she checks on Spark's wings again.

"Yeah, but I'm not needed here. There's...I'm not helping when I'm here, not really. Not anymore. There's...you guys have all got it covered." Said with admiration.

"That's not true..."

She turns to look at her. "How many people have you saved in the last month?"

"I don't... it... why does everybody want to leave?"

"Nobody!"

"I don't want to!"

"But...I should."

"So just LEAVE then!"

The horses wonder what all the tension is about

Sylvi stares at her.

She stomps over to grab the curry combs. Hands busy to direct the roiling emotions somewhere.

"You are pissed at me."

"I'm not!" Angrily.

"Sure feels like it."

"I said congrats." Sulkily.

"Yeah. I just...." A pause. "I was just hoping....I mean....Dammit, I'm going to miss you, and you being pissed at me is just messing up the last days we can hang out together for a while, and you don't care!"

"Well, like you said, you ain't here anyways."

"You aren't needed here."

"Yeah. Okay. Thought I still had a friend here, but...I guess that's other people."

She puts back the shovel and wheelbarrow.

Dagmar is scowling deeply now.

She starts to stalk off, back to the Lodge.

Dagmar retreats inside the stable.

Sylvi stops and turns and stalks back. "You know what? This is bullshit! You don't get to be pissed off at me because I'm trying to do a good thing!"

And HURLS the currycombs at the wall.

A step back. Sylvi may be a troll, but Dagmar's a LOT stronger than her...and angry.

"GO AWAY I DON"T WANT TO SEE YOU."

The horses are definitely noticing his. Stormwake makes a noise meant to be a head stallion call of order. .. Probably does't work on two legged mares but he doesn't like this

"No? Because a few minutes ago you were telling me to stay!"

Inside, Dagmar hiccups - hot, ugly tears escaping.

"GO AWAY!"

She bites her lip, then completely risks her own safety and lunges forward to grab Dagmar in a hug.

She gulps for air, trying NOT to just melt down in tears. "go'way!"

"Uh-uh," Sylvi rejects the order, holding on...and she's already crying.

That doesn't help. Floodgates. "It's not FAIR."

"I know!" They might not be talking about the same thing, exactly...except they kind of are.

Dagmar does not have the sidhe gift of pretty tears. There's snot, and hiccups.

Oh, there's plenty of troll snot to go around at the moment. But Sylvi's mascara is also ruined.

Sniff. Eventually, of course, even ugly tears have to run dry.

And .. Star sicks her head in to join the two girls if they're in reach

There there, pet me. It will help

A shaky laugh at horse nuzzles. "Ugh. We're a big mess," she mutters.

Hiccup. "Star doesn't like the hubbub." Reaching to pet.
