Browndog normally stays at the lodge, but since his recovery , somehow he got iNVITED to the 'Barn'/'Irownhawk' house/Second King Place

Twobit tryanizes the dope half the time, seems protective of him the other half

And Odin gives LONG one eyed glares at the people here as if to say 'you brought this into the house'?

And Dagmar sneaks him bacon at breakfast.

Tove peeks out, suspicious , looking at her daughter, looking at a wagging tail

"mmm" She says questioning in a non commital way

"Mm." Innocence.

"MmmM" Dubious, but then she smiles and lets it go "Need more bacon?"

"Yes please."

"you got it, honey"

She reaches down to rumple the mutt's ears.

Tove has been spoiling her daughter of late. That's one reason Browndog is here. While everyone likes Browndog, Jaymes declaration that two pets was enough with Odin and Twobit had Browndog more over at the lodge. Of course, Raindrop came in. So that rule faded faster... and, when Browndog got hurt, it was Dagmar who felt it the most. It seems Tove has decided that Dagmar has a dog and they need to stop pretending oherwise , and if Frank and Brekke are okay with it, Dagmar would have her lovable mutt at her house a lot more

And judging by the way Browndog wags and smushes his face against the rumpling hand, he's good with it!

"Mom, I was thinking I could watch CJ today?"

"What? Why?" She asks

"So you and Dad could, y'know, do Valentine's stuff."

"Oh" A surprised look then embarrasment, her cheeks pink "I.. forgot it was.. oh my"

That's when Jaymes comes in from shoveling some snow, he looks rather cold, must have been out there too long

"Jaymes" Tove says "Oh my " And gets him some hot coffee

Dag grins.

...BrownDog gets another bite of bacon.

Jaymes doesn't seem to see the bacon smuggling. Perhaps because he's too busy using Twobit to warm his hands

"Good girl" he says to twobit

Then Jaymes glances to his daughter, jerks his head to the window's direction, and winks, then looks at the kitchen where Tove is getting that coffee from

A sign for 'look out that window, see what you think. And if your mom will like'

Dagmar checks it out!

The teenager smiles. Nod. ("Good job.")

While sidewalks and paths are clear, Tove's view will be just that.

Jaymes smiles back, grunts ("thanks.")

Tove comes in with the coffee, still a bit embarrassed she forgot it was Valentine's day . Knowing her, she feels she's neglected some duty.

But Jaymes takes the coffee and kisses Tove "Thank you. Happy Valentine's Day"

"Yes, Jaymes, about that.. I completely..." then she looks out the window

and her face lights up! "Oh Jaymes!"

A little grin as she watches it play out.

Jaymes smiles, then says "We should get a babysitter for today. I have some plans for us ,Tove"

Tove purples again "Jaymes, you shouldn't have to plan EVERYTHING"

Grunt. ("Got one")

Jaymes grunts mmph chest just for his wife ("Man make fire. Man make date. Sharkbait, ohh hahaha")

Which gets a laugh from Tove and an eye roll both

At Dagmar's kind offer, he says "You sure? You don't have plans?"

"I'm not dating anyone."

"mmm " tove ponders

"Figure I'll play video games and watch the baby. Maybe Connor will wanna come over."

"I think he'd like Minecraft."

"mmm" Tove says again. which ttranslates to (Mom has a plan)

She kisses Jaymes again "Eat your breakfast, love. I have to make some calls"
