Siv gets dressed. She feels like she missed everything. Of course, she did fight the Kingsslayer

She looks at the mirror in the room, lifts her head. She's never been the prettiest troll at Rivervale. Sylvi has that twice over thanks to make up mastery as well as natural good looks.

Arms slide around her from behind. "Are you feeling better?" Piper asks.

"I probably FEEL fine" an attempt at humor, but the bitterness says "Don' worry, love. I'll turn the lights low"

"Turn around." Piper demands, all 5' nothing of her.

A sulk "don't wanna"

Piper slides in front of her instead, and with a little heave of her arms, hoists her butt onto the counter in front of the mirror, so that she is in front of it, between mirror and Siv. Leaning forward, she plants a smooch on Siv's face, right smack dab on the scarred cheek.

Siv blushes light "I know. I'm feeling sorry for myself. And others have endured so much more"

"You can feel sorry, but I see it as a badge of honor. You triumphed, and it enhances your roguish charm, not detracts from your looks."

"Are you disappointed you don't get an eyepatch?"

A soft laugh "point of fact, I have an eye patch, magic one, lets me see i nthe dark" She kisses PIper lightly then says "You're very kind"

"Are you ready to head home? If you wanted a few more days to convalesce, I hear that Fenix and BrightWinds are nice this time of year..."

"I.. " She ponders "I wonder if the healing waters there.. oh I am a vain thing, more so than I thought. No I need to head home. Folks are shaken enough without me bailing on Imbolc as if I want not to do with them. And Jonas.. poor dear. "

"I miss Jonas too. He checked in on you, when you were sleeping, you know. I can message him that we're on our way."

"It IS getting colder soon. If you wanted to go to Fenix, you need only let me drag you." Smiling as she gets out her phone. And then a frown as she checks her messages.

"You just use me for my connections in warm and sunny places"

teasing, but then she sombers as she sees the frown "Something wrong?"

"Weird... I got a text from Adam earlier this morning, about something wrong with Zane. But then he said it was alright." She ponders this, then slips the phone back in her pocket. "I'll check in with Z when we get back to town. I haven't seen my aunty and uncle for a bit."

"Oh goodness I've kept you here when your fam... oh I am such a selfish Bi-" Siv starts to fuss at herself, and.. perhaps PRESUMING she somehow tied Piper down

She SNORTS. "Siv, ain't no one keeping me where I don't want to be. And I want to be with you, first and foremost." A poke in the stomach, but she smiles.

"If you want to be selfish, be selfish when you're healthy and can make me appreciate the 'bedside visits'."

The troll knows to oomph obligingly. "I am healthy.. now" And she kisses piper, then parts "I'm sorry, I was doing that thing where I tried to make things about me when it was actually YOU who made it about me. "

"I appreciate the healers here letting me barge in and stay with you. I'll have to pamper you properly when we get home."

"Ah, I've been on my ass for far too long. " Siv snorts "Resting up, feeling sorry for myself. No, it's patrols and drills and duty" then "Maybe some pampering from a girlfriend.. SOME... but mom and dad and ..well the whole gang. I need to assure them I'll be okay and help pick up the pieces of whatever there are pieces of"

"Let's get back in time for the firebrand, yeah?"

"Yeah" She puts an arm around the much shorter girl, gives her a squeeze and out they go
