“I need the handsomest steed.... or help booking plane tickets to... Fort Davis, is it?”

"I got the texts too. And you know she's going to think we're fussing"

“We have to bring Siv home for Yule. AND her birthday. She’s a knight, but she doesn’t have to fight EVERY battle. See, I figured if we leave now... And go a roundabout way, past every friendly hold, and a few outposts, and in between. I have this new song, and I can sing to stir new life to the thought of the glory and need of fighting to secure Bright Winds....”

“And then she can come home.”

"I miss her too" he says after a time

“I’ll rally an entire army for a Liam hold to get her back for Christmas. Just you watch, I could do it, too!”

“What do you mean probably?” The grin heard in her voice.

"I'll come over there, we'll talk about it."

"You order great pizza" he smiles "Cheese is fine for me"

She dials up SnackAttak, the local delivery app, and has a pizza on the way.
