The Big Chimera hangs its head "Sorry, Ree"

"Then we're on the same side."

"Mallory!" A voice calls out

Fluffnubbins hears the voice and fades like a cheshire cat

Dag looks towards the voice.

It's May!

"Hi May! " Mallory waves , then looks at Nadeen and Dagmar "May's my cousin. SHe's okay"

"May's okay!" A grin.

"Sam! Tanya " May comes up "I'm sorry, Ree wandered off!"

"Oh, no worries. We were talking."

"Nothing to do with fairies going around here" Ree says "Just talking" then she gives Nadeen and dagmar a wink

Nadeen winces

"Well," May says, picking her little cousin up "that's a shame. Because Sam and Tanya know allll the fairies by name here and could have introduced you"

Mallory rewards that wink back with a smile, and giggles as she's lifted up

"Well, my mom knows all the good fairy stories. Maybe you could bring Ree over sometime to meet Tove?"

"And, you know, you could join us for dinner."

"I'd love that, " May says "I'll have to ask my folks. Ree's staying with us for a few days." Then she says to Mallory "Tove is Sam's mom. She's nice...and her food is great, but VERY spicy"

"You might explode" Tanya warns

"We can make you some that is Dad-hot, not Mom-hot."

"Okay!" Ree beams "I wouldn't mind exploding, but my imaginary friend would be sad..."

"I bet he would" May says "i would be sad if you exploded too."

"Ok, so no exploding. THIS time."

"Yep. I can explode later" Ree says on her cousin's shoulders

"Text me after you mom says it's okay for us to visit?" May asks Dagmar

"Sure! Nice meeting you, Ree!"

"Byyyyyeee..." Ree says as she's carted away she calls out "you dance beautifuullll taaaanyyayaa"

Nadeen waves then whispers "The girl sees too much. Knows too much... and has a giant chimerical guardian. You're not worried about this?"

"She's a child."

"Children see us, right? And she's obviously a dreamer. Why squash her dreams?"

"I miss the days where we could steal dreamers and make them useful servants in our castles" Nadeen sighs wistfully, "May would look lovely in a gown attending to your whims"

"Oh, but I don't think she'd like that..."

"Oh fine... " She sighs "Can't I have my dreams of tyranny?"

"You can dream, sure." A shy smile.

"So, did you like my dance?"

A SLY smile

BLUSH.

"Yes."

A whisper "you know, if you ever want me to dance just for you, you have but to ask" Oh wicked, and yet, she lower her lashes just enough to seem demure too

"I.."

"Uh..."

BLUSH.

"You looked real nice, d-dancing out there..."

"Thank you" she says pleased, "I didn't try to part the water. I knew you'd worry. Glad you liked the dance..."

She nods, shy again.

Nadeen gets on her tip toes, and kisses Dagmar gently

She reaches out to caress Nadeen's cheek.

Nadeen's turn to blush lightly
