Zane mutters "Deep Dreaming Dives always make me horny as.. crap. Sluagh ears" He looks down "Hey, I got the cane. We did it!"

"We did." A nod. She examines the broom with curiosity.

There's a gleeful surge of joy in her. Where she not sluagh she might do something unseemly. As she IS sluagh, nothing she does is unseemly, but rather merely a different level of proper.

Zane holds up the cane, which now has a light blue gem stone in it "I did it. I mean, we did it, but the new source" A smile on his face "I feel like a wizard"

"Glad for you, Zane," Earl says then looks to Zara, "It may not be as powerful in the mundane world. We shall see eh?"

"Well, tis yours now. I am free of it."

"I'm glad for more reasons than one, "Zane says "Please, you two come with me and bunk at the lodge. Maybe you can talk witch stuff with Gerd. And besides, as Pillar of the Mountain I can certainly make the invitation"

A little smile. "It would be nice to visit, aye."

"And she's really got good at tea I hear" Earl says

"She's obsessed with it" Zane assures and smiles waving his cane and guiding them on. Earl and Zara recognize taht look, a younger wilder feeling he's proven something, not the least to himself.
