The McMansion is torn down... or at least stripped down by the lake that so recently had a blue swan. Whoever had put it up, they appear to have hit hard times or given up on it.

with the apartment's pool put up, the Boggan (and pooka) family now focus on this. The expertise of the kith shines, as they make a silk purse out of this particular sow's ear. Some times, other changelings and kithain are taken on for temporary hire, the local community giving to itself. Tig used for heavy lifting as are one or two DeBukes who came over for a change of scenery.

New construction in the area often makes Brekke anxious or irritated...but this particular project has her full approval. After all, it's removing what was banal and putting something in its place that promises to be well-crafted and built with care.

Indeed, some of the local fae seem to get a kick tearing apart the tackier parts.

The boggan fellows themselves gossip as they work "Waste, the entire roof section.. what is this nub thing?"

The plastic faux-brick wall in the living room is especially tacky.

Trolls might get a chance to apply a sledge to that if they want.

Its dismantling is almost seen as a sacred act.

Like the destruction of an evil chimera.

Tacky Lawn ornaments are offered up to be burned in ritual, or to be used as target practice.

Dirk seems stunned at this part of the job "you WANT me to break shit?"

If Dirk can stomach McMansion banality, Brekke is content for him to eat the whoooooole thing.

And the Chieftain may get borrowed by the family's patriarch and shown the options of what will be built up

She peruses the plans, asks questions, ascertains environmental impact...and makes her suggestions.

A lot of nodding, "Oh worry not, the sealant will be non toxic, no rain run off hurting soil or into the lake water.. hell, it doesnt' even cost much more, folks are just short sighted."

That does seem to be one of her main concerns. Also, proper sewage connections, so close to the lake.

"Best pipes" A nod "Count already insisted"

"Mm" At her design choice "Sure.. bit big... tall too and.. " He looks up at her height "Right. tall ceilings"

An explosion, as the tacky fencing is brought down

"Woot" Margalita's voice can be heard.

"BOOMITY" approval from Tiffany to her Nocker ward

Then figures go past her "What? No love?"

Tikki stops turns back "Sorry, Etsie," the pooka boy says "The Cheiftain is on a rampage near the lake and we're all bored of heavy metal coolness and need to go see her breathe fire"

"Have fun" Etsie goes back to jamming.
