Jaymes twists his head "Is it dangerous?"

"Hardly" Jumper says "Our parents took us there as cubs"

"Yeah? Cool!"

Jaymes grunt nods (Lead on. I will trust you in this. Which is a great honor for this is my pack and family)

Jumper gives a slight sign of wolf submission to Jaymes to show he knows it is a great trust, then bounds through a side path that they're going to have to duck a lot for

Jaymes grunts, and motions to Dagmar to go first. He'll lift branches for Tove and the baby

Dag nods, and takes point after the wolf!

And she comes into this...

A clearing of sorts, one she's not seen before.. possibly one of those places where the Dreaming grows stronger. Butterflies are everywhere, of all colors and hues. Some as big as a child's kite, others as small as a thumb

"Oh, wow..."

Jumper bounces through

his form striing up dozens of butterfies at a time

and yet they return after he leaves

"Hurt no butterfly" he says "And you are welcome here"

"Gotcha..." Oh, Dagmar is careful - watching each step!

The others come through and Tove whispers "it's.. oh my, Jumper this is... "

"Impressive yes? Oh I wish Icould take credit for it, but I'm not the first sky wolf here. Mother found it, but before that, at least one troll knew of it."

CJ's eyes go SUPER wide

And Jaymes actually, smiles

Dagmar's careful steps are rewarded. Not only does she NOT hurt any butterflies, her gentle nature seems to mark her as safe! And... butterflies begin landing on her ever so lightly

"Chief? Did Chief know it?"

A smile as they land on her, and she stays v-e-r-y still.

Soon, at least a dozen butterflies are nestling Dagmar. Three on one arm, four on the other. Another on a shoulder. And who knows how many on her hair

Tove laughs as while her hands are full of baby, one insists on sitting on her nose

"This is wonderful, thank you Jumper."

"Your chief alpha? Your greater akela? Yes. She knows"

Jaymes nods, looking very much a man who is rugged, one with nature. Then three butterflies nestle among his horns. Somehow less rugged now

"Chief knows all the secrets in the woods."

"The Chieftain is a friend of mine" A woman's voice speaks up f rom.. nowhere, and everywhere "She lets me visit here now and then"

Blink!

And she looks around for the speaker.

Dozens of butter flies form a face.. and the lips move as one "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you"

"No, it's okay!"

"How is Brekke? Well I hope?" The face flits a little, a hovering visage in motion

"She's doing okay, sure. Being in charge is a lot of work."

"A heavy burden. Sometimes she comes here and just lets my children play with her, quietly. She says very ltitle, So we talk by not talking" The woman says

Tove looks near moved to tears "This is.. just hte most wonderful.. pardon me. I... I may not be able to be quiet."

"I could see how this place brings peace."

"yes... I arrive every summer, for a few weeks, and move on. " She looks at Jumper "Some wolves have big mouths"

Jumper looks canine contrite and rolls to expose his belly

This causes a butterfly to land on it, of course

"Oh.. oh, you don't stay?"

"Well, winter would be unkind..."

"Yes, my children and I..well I more than they, are very vulnerable to Banalty of the world... and the winter, well, it's not our time" She says

"Understood. But it is nice to see you now."

"Then.. enjoy" The figure moves, but does fly near Tove "These are your children?"

Jaymes grunts nod

"Yes, this is Dagmar.. our oldest" Tove says "She's a Knight of House Gwydion and a heroine several times over!"
