His father moves to his son's side "Hey" And he pulls the cover just a bit

"Breakfast do you want anything in particular? You had a roof night so we thought we'd ask what you wanted.."

Adam rolls over, burying himself again. He also makes some noises but they are not decipherable.

His father sits on the edge of his bed

A grunt and burrito-wiggle.

Kyle sighs "Sympathy running low. I'm going to take drastic steps if you don't wake up"

It heaves a sigh and rolls over, exposing Adam's face. "Not hungry, dad. Thanks."

"Son ,you gotta eat. " his father says "You sure you don't want something? ANYTHING?"

"Nah." Says the very mortal boy. "Just sleepy."

"We're going to do some Easter Stuff with your sister. You want to come?"

Adam considers it, rubs his face. "Supposed to stay in." he reminds his father.

"Mmm yeah" He says "You're right. But in this case there's a cover. Masks mandatory"

A sigh. "Nah. Thanks."

"Okay. I'll be back by noonish I think to check on you"

"M'fine." A sigh. "Just sleepy."

He rolls over again.

A sigh and a mental note to watch out for depression sinking in. "See you later"

"Kay." And the lump is still.

And he goes. Adam is alone.

Truly, sadly...

Adam is still rolled in his blanket burrito.

And then the doll blinks

Gradually, the boy's breath evens out....

And his phone buzzes.

After a minute, a hand emerges and checks the phone.

Groggy, as he looks for his phone, more of him emerges from his bedding. He looks down at himself. "Jammies??"

Whatever he wore last night to the sofa

Shorts and a tee shirt, then. A grunt; he doesn't actually remember coming to bed but.... must have done.

He scrubs his face with a hand and wipes his curly hair back along his head.

To be far, he did shower before watching the movie so.

Oh yeah. He remembers that much.

He leans over and plugs the phone in; maybe it buzzed 'cause it was losing power? Well. Won't hurt to have it charged.

He considers his bed, wondering vaguely if he should get back in and sleep some more.....

And so he does.
