Adam has watched all with interest, says little, and comes away with Piper when she's ready. Once in the car.... "That was really cool, Piper. It was, like..... alive."

She waves it off a little. "Oh, that's just... musing, you know? It takes a long time, but... I guess it's worth it."

"That was musing?" Interested, excited, intrigued! "Really?"

"Yeah, it's like... coaxing something shy... like, I dunno, a kitten out from under a car, maybe? Or when you're just going over the notes in your head, over and over, trying to find the next bit, and you play a little here and a little there until something feels -right-? ...I think it's different for everyone. Like, say.... Dirk? I have no idea what a redcap muse might be like, and I'm not sure I want to know."

"Dirk's an asshole." Automatically. "Like... like it has to be something that feels.... feels right? In... in the pocket. Solid, like.... like a sure thing?"

"I don't know about solid.... mine always feels a little... ethereal? Intangible? But that might be how it works for you." A smile.

"No, like.... " He gropes for an analogy. "Like......in ball, when I -know- I'm going to make the shot. Or. Like. I guess if you were playing and singing and you -knew- you could hit the notes?"

"Yes! When things just line up juuuust right?" A grin over to him, nodding in understanding.

"Yeah!" Excited, he gets it. "So... so that was what you were doing?"

"Yeah, I kinda... just talked to him? Learned a little bit, then... coaxed him in the right direction, not so much a shove, but a gentle push?"

Adam nods, intent. "Right. I kinda got that? I mean.... I could see. A little."

She reaches over and lightly taps Adam on the nose, with a spark of glamour. "Thanks for looking out for me."

He jolts, grins. "Can you do it to me?"

"I can do all sorts of things to you..." A small grin.

"Oh, yeah." He breathes. "And I love it. But if you could muse me, I could make Glamour for you. Right?"

"I could certainly try... and I bet we'd have fun doing it. Mostly I've mused by music, but... I could try other things..." A slow grin.

"I could be into music, too." He offers. "I want to help, Piper." An answering grin.

"Well, we do have all those oils to try out..."

"We do." He gives her a gentle kiss. "Where?"

"They're back at my room, but it's not very... private. Hmm. Ideas?"

"Well, your folks would understand? Or... my house but... well, my 'rents seemed cool until.... but then, they kinda checked out? But Lily........"

"Oh, they understand, but... eh. Maybe the hot spring? Hmmm, I don't want to get oils into the natural water... landscape... thingy, though."

"So... so.... we go get the oils and.... shit, I can't rent a hotel room." He scowls. "Fuck."

"I've heard about this hold that's kinda like a bed and breakfast..."

"Sounds awesome! Where??"

"Mmm... hold up." She sends a quick text over to Zane. Bzzt "hey, how does one get to that firnost place? is there a trod or..... i think it's too far to road trip mundanely."

And he gives instructions

"Anything?" Hopeful.

"yep!" She slides the phone into her pocket. "It's a bit of a roundabout way, but we have to go through a Trod to the Farm, and from there can get to the place... it's called Firnost. Have you heard about it? Even back in Cali there were stories..."

"Uh. No. But I'm good! Let's go?"

Fortunately, Adam has his magic boots

And they may soon find their ways to Firnost

Tove steadies herself slowly. Her husband isn't home yet. Her daughter isn't. She's..alone? It's actually interesting to be alone. She eyes the stairs.

And feeling a thrill of getting away with something, she sneaks up stairs to clean

"mwhahahah... I'm cleaning, and no one can stop me"

"MROW"

"Darn it, Odin. I am allowed to be there.. upstairs I mean." She says

"MROW"

" I am mistress of this household, feline, and besides, she's probably got socks on the floor that needed to be washed two weeks ago." She moves about picking up dirty clothes. Though her knees protest the bend

To be fair, dirty clothing is contained mostly to heap in and around the hamper.

"She gets sooo close. But if she were throwing a basketball I bet she'd try to get it in the target more" She picks up one thing and stares "I think it's gaining life on it's own." Dunk

"Qrrripp." Odin agrres.

She does bend once to pet the cat with an easy stroke

He arches his back to get alllllll of the pettin's

"ooh goodness, you spoiled thing, like she doesn't pet you"

"Mrrup." An injustice, yes!
