The color returns on Jonas' face, "Her eye is NOT missing? No ocular wound?"

"I have not seen her."

"I see"

A grunt.

"I.." torn "I suppose I need to stay on duty to assit with Connor"

A last turn around the room, gathering up things to be washed...but it doesn't seem that there's any clear indication of whatever's going on with the boy. A sigh, and she heads out and back downstairs.

Another grunt.

Kerri returns to them, saying, "He's definitely eating more than normal. A lot more."

"A lot?"

"Could it be something medical ?"

She indicates the handful of food wrappers she carries along with the laundry. "Could be," she agrees with Jonas, concerned.

"This is alarming on many levels. Gerd and he have a sibling relationship. She has an eating disorder. You don't think he's decided to emulate her?"

Kerri blinks. "I... oh, I hadn't made that connection. You're right."

A grunt.

A sigh. "All right...I'll start keeping watch for signs of that. Mountain, let me know what Jaymes has to say. Oh, I feel like an idiot for not thinking of...." She shakes her head.

"it's just a speculation, Hearth. I'm not qualified to know for certain, but, it's an alarming speculation to be sure"

"Yes, but it's a speculation I should have come to myself before now."

Jonas merely shrugs "I cannot cast stones. Between the rescue and missing Siv's return and second departure I seem to be-" A frown "Not operating as well as I like. I'll keep an eye out as well for Connor's behavior "

Frank goes to see what Jaymes knows about this.

Kerri pauses en route to the kitchen as Frank starts to leave, then when he is gone, she says to Jonas, "Perhaps you should visit her. A brief visit."

"If, you allow, Hearth. " Torn. he's a dutiful man, he tries to put Duty first but he clearly misses Siv, "I would not wish to shirk my tasks and leave others in a lurch"

She shakes her head. "I can spare you for a day. SallyMae is here."

"Then, I think I shall utliize this time to ah... pay my respects to Siv and inquire how she fares." A light blush. Oh Jonas used to be better at stoic. Siv may have damaged his defenses

"I think that's a fine idea. I'll need you back here by tomorrow, though. All right?"

"Promptly, Hearth" He puts hand over hear, and rushes off "Pardon, excuse me . "

No doubt, he's heading for a shower, a shave and so forth.

and then RACING towards Earth Runes

Kerri calls after him, "Let her know you're coming!" Hopefully he does.

Then she's back to worrying about Connor...and doing laundry.

That boy is going through a lot of clothes on top of it all

Well...laundry...then she'll make some good, hearty sandwiches to keep ready for his return.

She sees her husband come home from teaching, and from roving. She has someone to share HER concerns and fears with openly now.

Yes, that's a relief. She follows him into the bedroom and closes the door so they can discuss the matter.

And her husband listens..he's learned well, he loves much. Good combo.
